    Forbidden Druid - Avinox Powered

Happy to update after more riding, but so far, I would have to say the hype is real. Riding trails I know well I find myself looking down thinking wtf how am I carrying so much speed 😂 A little extra drive train noise and resistance is noticeable but the positives far outweigh the negatives...

The trailhead fitted them for me and they came with some issues, wandering bite point and a spongey lever, I don't think it was their fault though. Reviewers have mentioned this so I was kind of expecting it. I think they need to be run in a little bit. I did a piston massage and bleed and now...

Yes they had the fast charger in stock at the Trailhead, List price is £230 but Sandy did me a little deal because I picked it up the same time as the bike. Bitter pill to swallow but really glad I've got it now.

A few more pics Utilising the fast charger over lunch. Bit annoying that the fast charger wasn't included considering what the bike cost... Gained 60% of battery in just over an hour Smilog trailhead Tyn y Coed trailhead

When I say mid April, to be specific it was the day after the YouTube video with Ollie came out on the 10th. I rang around the dealers first thing on the 11th! Sandy at the Trailhead was great all the way through, have no problem recommending them.

First time I've ever run Shwalbe tyres on this new bike so it's difficult to draw a good comparison. Running continentals before this. So far so good though, biggest take away I have so far is when they do break traction, it's predictable.

Nice man, the brakes look so good on the bike! Took a little work to get them running right. Had a wandering bite point on the front so I did a piston massage and another bleed and they're mint now. Running the 220mm rotor on the front 200mm rear with organic pads at the moment which is working...

Thanks man. I haven't noticed any no, I've ridden EP8 for the last 3 years though so maybe I'm desensitised to rattles!

Been following this thread from the start so it seems only right to add my 2 cents. Picked up my S3 corE 1 on August 23rd from the Trailhead in Shrewsbury. Got the deposit down early (mid April) so my bike was on the first delivery. So far it's had: -Limited edition teal maven ultimates...

Santa Cruz Heckler 9 battery recall

Just submitted a claim via their website and ordered a new battery but there is no indication of a delivery date. Details from Santa Cruz I've been using the battery for the last two years without issue but the advice from Santa Cruz is to stop using the battery immediately. Is anyone else...
