The manual says to have the extender connected to the battery all the time, both when loading and In use. Offcourse you can leave it off in case you don't need it. On the other hand, what's the use of taking the extender with you to only plug it in when the main has 10%?
I did my upgrades and modifications now as well but wondering....what torque is needed for the motor bolts? Can't find them anywhere, my guess would be about 15 or 20Nm but maybe you know?
While upgrading, did you remove the motor and battery? I want to replace the brakes but guess I have to remove motor and battery. The hose is very tight and won't move along the battery.
I recently bought a Lumen 910 and switched over some parts from my hardtail. One of the parts I switched over is the wheelset. The original set had CL discs so I could not put the original magnet on the wheel set I have. Nevertheless I had a magnet lying around from my old turbo levo which I...
The collar may be a bit to tight. Take it out (the post), clean it and put some friction paste (usually for carbon parts) on it and tighten slightly under spec.
Why not put Blevo on your smartphone? makes Garmin unneccesary , detailed maps, all your bikes information, strava upload, etc. You can put all the GPX's in it and choose Komoot routes and load them in as GPX.
I got mine for 550 euro because we (shop and me) agreed that I could easily fetch that for the 500Wh that was standard....so in the end I got a 700Wh as a trade in.
Maybe it’s me but I still dont get it:
It’s not healthy for the motor to go above 30mph (!? Who does that apart from going downhill) BUT
The motors have a max Wattage output, are heat protected (cut off above a certain temp) so what is the difference between maximizing the output in a long climb...
And the myth continues....According to European law and regulation an E-bike primarily intended for competition or off road use is not obligated to be restricted. If you log your rides (strava, Garmin, Blevo etc) and indeed you use your bike more off-road than on-road you are 100% legal.
As far as I know only the S Works has the one with space for the link because this one is the version with the chain tool. The ones with the blind plate don't hav a chain tool integrated (all non S Works) al least that was the case for the 2019 models.
Works like a charm............ I ordered one a few months ago for a similar operation, but ended up with 3 because I allready had them. They're in te Reverb Stealth packaging as standard so be aware of that ;-) You yourself or someone near probably has one if you need one :geek::giggle:
Assuming you take the battery for the model of bike you take it is NO PROBLEM at all. I don’t know wher the story of it being a problem with Specialized comes from but that is just not true as well.
