Obviously Handling, aesthetics etc are important but if we're talking about EBikes motor reliability, waterproofing and a robust drive train should be high priorities.
EBikes can be subjected to serious use in atrocious conditions, probably more so than manual bikes.
4300 miles and still going on Sram GX cassette with 3 GX chains from the start used in rotation (excuse the pun).

My bike failed to unlock a couple of times whilst using the bosch lock, I had to restart my phone and re-pair with the bike to get moving.

I have the same noises on my 2020 levo, it didn't make them when it was new, it has now done 1500 miles.
like the previous posts I'm pretty sure its coming from inside the motor, I've checked everything else so will have to learn to live with it I guess.
If it gets worse I'll have to take it...
I had similar issues with my 2020 Levo, it was fixed by replacing the power lead. which my LBS obtained and fitted in a couple of days.
Why don't Spesh dealers keep these in stock because its a VERY common problem ?

I have left the settings as factory defaults, I ride mainly in Eco using Trail for medium climbs and Turbo only for the real short sharp "killer" climbs.
I rarely switch to Off as I find if I don't need any assistance I'm above the 15 mph cutoff.
If range is your major concern I can say that the Levo Comp with 700 wh battery is easily capable of decent 50 + mile rides.
I recently did 63 miles with 6000 ft of climb at an average speed just over 11mph and still had 40 % battery remaining.

I have found that the battery connection (plug from the motor) is very susceptible to contamination.
On a couple of occasions I've been able to fix a "won't switch on situation" by simply wiping the plug and connector.
I am very careful when washing/cleaning my bike around this area.

my charger failed after about 4 months my LBS gave me a new one under warranty and that came in a case.
