Sduro 5.0, 2017 model. Other than the Yamaha motor breaking the main drive gear the bike itself is well built. Paint is rock hard and the aluminium frame looks sturdy enough.
Thanks. The outer casing with thread is very flimsy and can see why it would snap. Very annoyed with retailer and Raleigh UK at the moment. I'd be happy with just the part.
Or I'll put a big bearing between crank set and chain ring and make do. Waiting for a response now.
Hi all,
I noticed the lock nut on my drive side was loose and realised it has snapped the main drive gear thread off. I've see a similar case on YouTube.
Contacted my dealer - bike was an ex demo with 90km on, bought 10 months ago, still within 2 year warranty from haibike.
Apparently...
Personal opinion: full suspension or nothing. I started with a HT but I do drops and Jumps and it makes an enormous difference. Way more important than which motor or even how expensive the components are in my view.
I'm not keen on the looks but that's entirely a personal opinion. On the plus side, the seat post seem to be going very low which is a good thing. Now that I've seen it I'm thinking the next one will be a Fantic 180 (big battery etc) or Rocky Mountain. Giant look good too as I like the Yamaha...
I'm new to bicycles, coming from motocross/other motorcycles and I agree. Margins on anything cycling must be astronomical. I can buy a race ready KTM 450 bike for the same price of a high spec Specialized ebike, which might cost 1/5th in terms of development, components etc.
Also, cyclists...
I own 18 guitars, mostly of the heavy metal kind. (though the collection includes 3 classicals and a bass too).
It's my biggest passion. Current favourite is my white Jackson Kelly Pro - Japan made. I'll post some pics when I have time.
Hi, I have a Yamaha PW and will need to do the same. As far as I can tell that should be exactly the same as any other MTB as it does not have the small chainring like a Bosch.
This. Mine is set to private but I do use the map a lot as I like exploring and I like to pinpoint nice riding spots when I stumble upon one. Otherwise I'd never find them again.
