It doesnt bode well when santa cruz only put in a 600 battery,it has put a lot of potential buyers off,including me,i need a 750 or higher as i do long rides,600 is pretty prehistoric

What i do is put a bit of tape over the socket hole and put the flap back over it,just peel it off when you recharge,id cut off the spike drill a small hole and put a self tapping screw on it,worked for me. If you need cube parts,westbrook cycles are the go to peeps,they can get you...

The people getting fooled with the new mondrakers get me,its an 800 wh battery yes,BUT,its the old battery tech,its a big battery,the new avinox is 700 wh ,new cylinder battery tech,and more range,less weight than the 800wh battery of the mondys,so if you buy a mondy,you already have old battery...

Just buy a volspeed,gets rid of the awful pullback at 16 mph,and you get assistance up to 28 mph,yes it does use more battery,but with careful battery management,you use around 10% more,best £200 ive ever spent!

I have a gen 4 smart system,added a volspeed to it,never ever had and issue,it cuts out the harsh speed limiter,you can have assistance up to 28 mph,but i have set mine to 21 mph,which is perfect for me,the speed limiter harsness was a pain in the ass fir me,not to gain faster speeds,battery...

They still look bland,they need to add more colour choice
