You’re right on the line of s1 & s2. Would definitely recommend riding both. I know that’s hard to do since they’re so scarce.
I am 1 cm inside the S3 recommendation and in hindsight I probably would have gone s2. With ebike sizing, generally size down if you straddle sizes.
The battery, weight, aesthetics is what you’re paying for in the PX.
Reckon the PR could be more expensive to manufacture due to the complexity of the removable battery. But the 800 battery is also a cycle older, so that brings the price down.
What a drama queen.
There certainly has been an increase in bot/human comment stuffing campaigns happening this year. I'm chalking that up to the scourge of AI accessibility. No idea what the costs are, but it's obviously pretty cheap to employ an army of agents to drive the conversation in...
(Not) hot take: I bet the same rider would get the same times on the base vs Pro.
Even more controversial take, fancy suspension matters less on an ebike. As long as it has the right tune…
Surely that will be for the Euro market only?
Not that I want/need all the power, my Avinox is detuned pretty heavily, but I do use full power turbo class 3 when I drop down to a sketchy winding highway shared with cars.
I have bought many Rapha lightweight trail pants on sale. They’re excellent. NF has lightweight pants. Lots to choose from. I switch to the standard NF pants in the cold months.
I always prefer long pants for the ticks and poison oak where I live.
I rode there last year, some pretty fun off-menu trails not far from Hatchery Ridge that are worth finding if you're there for a few days.
Hatchery Ridge is a showcase for an ebike. Wish I had one when I was there due to some punchy climbs.
That ridge line image needs to go to pic of the day thread (I only know there is one because it happened to be in the “similar threads”
at the bottom of the page).
I imagine it’s the last place you wanna experience a gust of wind. 💀
I’ve had two VPP bikes and never gelled with it, prefer a Horst for my use case. Another thing to consider is dropper insertion being impacted by a shock tunnel and shock accessibility. There is a reason all bikes are going crab…
It’s nearly 2kg/over 4# lighter (depending on 800wh build), so that will feel better. Lighter battery and suspension components for the Amflow. The MY27 eDruid is probably a smidge lighter due to the suspension spec.
And the new longer chainstay option helps the Amflow as well. Amflow didn’t...
I have the latest top shelf iPhone and the site is performing terribly on mobile recently. Assuming because of the up-leveled ads being served.
On desktop, Safari is even auto blocking some ads because it is using too much system resources. So google is definitely injecting some overly...
That is my height, I went S3 and would probably go S2 if doing it again. I stood over an S2 in the shop and thought it felt good, but I had too much geo table cognitive dissonance in my head to trust my gut.
My recommendation would be to ride them both around the block at the very least.
For...
I’m 1/2” taller and went s3 and would go s2 if doing it again (eDruid, not nought-e). 100% recommend ride both around the block at the very least. It’s great for steep and straight stuff, but more cumbersome in tight and twisty.
