The thing is I have no doubt Bosch could to design a gen 6 CX motor with 1,000W+ that could match the M2S so you have to ask what is their motivation to push the 750W limit so hard? To me I think they are more worried about potential regulation changes that completely fuck the ebike industry...

Do you have the shuttle setting adjusted? After my above post I read further into the Levo settings and the wording they use to me sounds like the shuttle setting alters the assistance past 400%.

Could it be that Orbea have the inside track on potential regulation changes?

I could see a scenario where they have a specific "race" build that people can use at UCI events witht he 750w limit but Ihink it would be silly to spec that on all the bikes. Is E-Enduro even a big enough thing to be making specific race builds available to the general public? Strange choice to...

Wasn't the Vivid coil one of the shocks with a thick enough shaft for this? The previous Super Deluxe Coil was mentioned by Specialized as being ok to use on the gen 3.

I think it's fine if the outside form factor of the motor remains the same but the internals and torque/power numbers will need a big boost. Better batteries and a more modern display also. Can't see them winning back any brands without this.

It will negatively effect his credibility either way. Click baity, breaking news style journalism is not what we should be aiming for in this (or any) industry. Brands aren't gonna want to invite someone to launches who has a track record of spilling sensitive beans early.

All brands do paid (cash or other benefits) partnerships with influncers, media, reviewers, etc. It's not only Avinox. It would be nice if there were better rules about disclosing it but it is what it is.

Well we now know which journo won't be getting an invite to the next Avinox or Mondraker launches :D

Those are 2025 spec models. Very common for all brands to discount previous model year bikes after the newer spec ones drop. If that's a sign a brand is in trouble then every big brand is in trouble at this time of year. It's also an online retailer who is selling them so maybe they are over...
