Swapped out my 180 mm Lyrik for a “new” but 2021 MY Zeb over Labor Day Sale. Love/Hate relationship so far. Tracks so much better through ruts and everything BUT even at much lower psi that recommend I have migraine and arm and wrist pain after every ride.
Lowered PSI from 60 to 50 to 40 then...
Using BLEvo for years 🙏🏼 on my 2019 Kenevo Gen 1 with an iPhone 6 Plus. It’s no longer updated by Apple and can’t get my rides to upload to Strava anymore. The authorize screen bounces back and forth from BLEvo to Strava and back. Any work around?
On my Gen 1 Kenevo I replaced the OEM Code R which had over 11k miles with RSC take offs but new and should have done it years ago. As you can see I definitely got a lot of use out of the OEMs but regret not changing from the start.. @Mikerb gives a great description of why, but especially on...
I did but it was a long journey! No amount of splicing wires would work. I even had friends that are electrical engineers look at their work at the circuits under a microscope.
What eventually worked was contacting Specialized Rider Care at (877) 808-8154 and Terry understood the issue and sent...
Has anyone found a good solution? Just found this post after I realized that when I drink from my water bottle through the FF helmet, the lid presses on my sunglasses so hard that it causes the nosepiece to spread and the glasses start to slide down my nose. On the next rough section I’m taking...
Smashed my handlebar thumb switch and the replacement is now a universal unit and it uses a patch cable to connect the new round 6 pin connector with the old flat 4 pin connector that goes in the motor. I can easily get this new thumb switch BUT the connector is out of stock.
So…I figure I’ll...
Great idea! I’m not sure what width brass rod to order—3mm?
Has anyone made this repair successfully? I’ve been waiting for months for the part to be in stock and no luck and the play in the post is getting pretty bad. Thanks
That’s great news. My motor was replaced under warranty around 3000 miles and the replacement is now over that mark, so if/when it fails, the $380 would be completely reasonable to replace. I run BLEvo and carefully monitor motor and battery temps and never go into the red so hope this makes a...
Not sure if this will apply but on my 2019 Kenevo expert with 1.3 motor, the TCU is on the battery pack. The shop kept running diagnostics and sending results to Specialized after changing the power cable didn’t fix the problem. Eventually they replaced the battery/TCU (under warranty despite...
Well She’s finally home and I missed her. I forgot how hard it is out there? Much longer and I’d get in shape IF it didn’t kill me!
LBS Black Mt Bikes sent video of start up and sent diagnostics to Specialized. 200 charge cycles and 87% health so despite being a few months out of warranty...
2019 Kenevo expert wouldn’t change modes (eco trail turbo) following wet ride and wash. Shop changed the power cable but when I picked it up the problem returned before I left the parking lot. LBS did firmware update and battery test which shows cells are ok and at 87% with almost 200 charge...
I just replaced the same bearings on my 2019 Kenevo and it seemed like the wear was on the inner race where it contacts the bolt. The new bearings seem to have solved the play but their was some wear starting on the bolt’s black anodized coating. Did you notice this. Also on the Kenevo at least...
Success. Bearings fit and it solved the problem. The old bearings felt smooth but there seemed to be wear on the inner race where it contacts the bolt and maybe some sideways play. With the rear shock off, the rest of the bearings seemed very smooth and no play. Pretty beefy setup and impressive...
Does anyone know the bearing size for the rear shock bike yoke? Creaking and play here and repacking didn’t work this time like 2000 miles ago so needs replacement. All others are smooth and no play.
Thanks! Never heard of Kidex and got a 12 x 12” sheet of .6mm and this seems like enough to provide some protection while being easy enough to cut and shape. Used industrial Velcro and almost too strong. Had to super glue the backing to the guard.
