Why is PX £1100 more than PR Pro?

Would love the PR (have the PL Carbon) but betting it won't be here in the Usa til late fall. Right now, they're saying late September or so, but you know there will be delays. Granted, I live in California, so there is no "riding season" here (year-round rippin'... er, crashing, in my case).

Why is PX £1100 more than PR Pro?

Missing a full season of riding waiting for the PR? PRICELESS (tomorrow is promised to none of us)

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Bought the long-sleeve padded jersey & full padded mrb pants from Ride Cased. Needed for steep falling.. er, downhill season!

Sea Otter 2026: EMTB Specific Highlights

Would love to ride a Rogue. Unfortunately, not available in the USA... maybe someday.

Sea Otter 2026: EMTB Specific Highlights

Here's the thing... what does Santa Cruz have to demo? Do they have a new bike that no one knows about? You can demo a Santa Cruz bike at your LBS... same with Ibus, Forbidden (rode the Druid CoreE w/ Avinox, and, frankly, wasn't impressed AT ALL), etc. Why not try Aventon? Let's take off the...

    Forbidden Druid CorE vs Crestline

You know how you just know when riding it? There was just not anything special about it. When I first rode my Avinox, I knew it was special. When I first rode my Orbea Wild, I knew it was special. The Druid was just... kind of blah. But, that's why we all have our own styles and should go out...

    Forbidden Druid CorE vs Crestline

Agreed. Was super stoked to ride the Forbidden CoreE, but was really disappointed with it. My Amflow Carbon PL, for me, was so much better. Rode the Levo R on the same day & liked it a lot more than the Forbidden. Different strokes & all.

    AMFLOW or Trek Fuel+

I've only heard that joke about crossfit & vegans.

    AMFLOW or Trek Fuel+

I bought the PL Carbon at the end of December, and it blows away my Specialized Gen 4 Turbo Levo (not even in the same vicinity) & '25 Orbea Wild with Bosch Gen 4. I also test-rode a Forbidden Druid Core2 with Avinox motor at the end of February, and, while much. ore expensive than the Amflow, I...

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

Have heard/ seen about the walk mode noise from several people who have updated. Keep in mind that the firmware update is still in Beta, henc3 why Spesh is asking for feedback. To me, it's imperative that riders give that feedback to them, too, in addition to complaining about it online.

Transporting two electric bikes, 3000 miles.

Would have to drive through a Cat 4-5 hurricane or tornado... or a flooded road for there to be enough rain to worry about "rain" damaging your bike. You'll be fine driving with them over the tailgate. Don't stress yourself about it. Your bikes will be fine.

    All bikes using Avinox Motor

While it's my wife's bike, strangely enough we had it sized perfectly so I could ride it, too. She's probably put about 100 miles on it. Me? About 1000 miles on it. Funny how that worked out. 😇

    Other New Specialized Ebike?

Agree with everything you said. Just repeating what my dealer said. He spent a week with Spesh in AZ test-riding SEVERAL new Specialized bikes (7 analog, 3 ebikes). Seems like A LOT of sku's, which doesn't seem smart in this bike economy. Less sku's is the smarter business decision, but we'll see.

    All bikes using Avinox Motor

Switched to the eThirteen 155mm cranks... soooo much better. Not an expensive upgrade/ change, either.

Transporting two electric bikes, 3000 miles.

I have a "cheap" ebike rack (Youngs Electric 2-bik3 carrier... up to 200 lbs, really meant for "fat" tire ebikes, but still works well for my emtb's). I am considering the Veloco-Rack (carry 4-6 emtb's, depending on model you choose)for $1100-$1200 or just doing the basic, tried-and-tested Kuat...

    All bikes using Avinox Motor

Love my (ok, my wife's) Orbea Wild with Bosch Gen 5. Frankly, if Orbea would get away from standard 170mm cranks (pedal-strike city!) and the headset routing of the cables, it would be just about perfect.

    Other New Specialized Ebike?

My lbs, a big Specialized dealer, said he'll have a demo fleet of the new Spesh Levo R by the end of February. I have a Gen 4 Comp (the pink, er, "champagne" color), but I have it currently as my 3rd favorite (out of 3) emtb. First is the Amflow PL Carbon followed by 1a Orbea Wild (Gen 5 Bosch)...

Orbea Wild will almost certainly be using Avinox. Expect to debut at Sea Otter, if not sooner.

    Forbidden Druid CorE vs Crestline

For me, I just have found that I never seem to agree with the PinkBike dudes. I like the Loam Wolf, but my most trusted evaluator is Brian Cahal, even though I'm not a long chainsaw guy... he's the granddaddy of long chainstays.
