Yes the e55 and e56 are the same geometry - the e56 just has wider rear hub spacing for fat bike wheels.

In my opinion the medium e56 frame runs a little small so recommend upsize. I usually go for size small frames and the 17” is somewhere between small & medium. Lastly I really like the frame layout, it’s a great design in my opinion.

One other thing for TCFreak, would you have any interest in building a custom battery for the e-06. You can see from the pictures there is about 1-1/4” clearance from the front tire when the suspension is fully collapsed. I was thinking could add more cells that protrude outside of the frame...
