Cleggy, have you tried a derestricted emtb of any kind? Just wondering as that was the clincher for me. Once I'd experienced the goodness of the full potential of these bikes there was no way I wasn't having that for myself.

Ah ok. Mine hasn't had a problem so far, just been lots of fun.

    Ep801 solution

As far as I can remember it's all undoable by the user, and once back to normal won't be detectable by a shop or dealer. I'm sure that's what the guy told me, no idea how to do it though. Once back to normal you'd have to pay them to fix it again, minus the cost of the license fee as that...

I'll have one last try. I can explain this to you, but I can't understand it for you. Here we go. Using the range of gears available one can ride at a constant velocity but with variable cadence. With the 10 to 52 cassette and 38t chainring I can reach 30mph without spinning out. The support...

I've got no idea, but not so high that I've been tempted to check. I could have checked, cadence is indicated on once of the screens, but I don't normally have it displayed. I can maintain 30mph on the flat for a couple of miles without killing myself. This is with motor support. I'm sure...

I'm running a 38t chainring. I've only reached the top speed on a couple of road commutes, not spinning out by any means. Off road I don't get close to topping out the assistance.

Anyone have any tips for Tennis Elbow recovery?

Get yourself some sort of a stress ball and get squeezing. I had a sore elbow from over doing it on a road bike that didn't fit well, it got so I could just about ride but was sore all the time. A few minutes a few times a day of stress ball squeezing eventually got me back to being pain free...

So much more fun. Get in touch with the guys at e-max. They were really helpful when I was looking at my options, they were happy to answer the questions I had.

Yeah that's right. It's all reversible with no evidence of it being done, apart from the speed stats. I guess if I ride consistently way over the normal cut out somebody may smell a rat. Fingers crossed it won't need any warranty work done. So far so good!

The outer goes above the motor from the down tube to the seat tube. It's quite fiddle even just to move the outer through the gap, but not impossible. So, if you need more cable outer you should be able to get something through without dropping the motor if you're careful.

My thoughts exactly. I've posted about this in the derestricting section. E-max tuning have a very good solution. Have a gander and if you want more info maybe message me directly or within that thread.

I've got a 200mm brand X one in my small. It's not slammed but not far off, loads of room. Cable wiggling was a pain to get right though.

This is the info. They were very quick to respond, not sure if he's a one man band or not so you may deal with a different person. http://www.emax-tuning.com [email protected]
