I’ve pulled the cable out and gone to using a battery. Can’t see the point in having wires on a wireless system.
im still not convinced that it wasn’t a faulty cable that destroyed my first 2 t type xx rear mechs.
Hi thanks for the reply
i turned the bike on and gave it a shake to wake the components like i normally do but the mech didn’t wake up, it’s greyed out in the app. The button doesn’t do anything, I can’t pair it, I’ve tried numerous batteries and I’ve tried a hard reset like sram support asked...
Yes you can use the xx cranks, I am on my trek fuel exe, just make sure you get the ones marked e-mtb which are isis fitment. There isn’t slot of benefit over the cranks you have but they look a lot better.
My trek exe 9.9 came wired with Axs xx1. I’ve since swapped to xx t type and have been using the same battery connection cable to the main battery. Currently my bike is waiting for its third rear mech as 2 have failed to wake up after been left for a week. the first rear mech was replaced by the...
Trek are now fitting the new t type transmission to their 2024 rail and fuel ex-e models with the same wheel sets as before so that explanation can’t be entirely correct either unless there is enough micro adjust in t type mech to compensate. I don’t know what Microadjust the new treks have out...
Something more serious is wrong as some have rightly said the cranks should rotate backwards without the chainring engaging. I would get your motor checked out, it’s not disengaging on a backpedal
I agree that was a daft idea
The bike is still working perfectly and charging normally now, I think I might have got a little bit of water in the charger port when I washed it but all is ok now and it hasn't happened since after washing.
Ive since upgraded the SRAM xx1 axs, that came on the...
I’m upgraded my new 9.9 Axs to xx t -type and am using the standard 32t x-sync 2 chainring and it works perfectly.
i have a wolftooth t type compatible chainring to put on but haven’t bothered yet.
Yep I’ve just bought a full xx transmission to replace the xx1 that came on my new trek fuel ex-e. Sold the as new xx1 kit on eBay and got half the money back for the xx stuff.
Pressure monitors give you a real time update as you ride, which is and it saves having to take a pressure reading before each ride which I could never be bothered to do. I’ve never had a valve clog with tyre sealant.
mine came on the bike so the price was irrelevant, yes they are pricey but in...
I had XX1 AXS on my New Trek Fuel EX-E and I decided to give XX a try so I fitted the complete transmission as per the instructions and the 3rd gear just wouldn't stay put on the trails so I tried the install 3 times and it was always the same. Now by default my rear XX mech was on 7 on the...

Hi, my old xx1 axs was hard wired into the main battery when I bought it so I have done the same with the new one and used the same lead / dummy battery. if the lead wasn't already there on the bike I would have just used a battery.
Just an update I've installed the new T type XX transmission on to my Fuel EX-E 9.9 and it all works perfectly, really easy installation.
I have left the stock front chainring on which came with the bike (32T sram ring on spider) as I couldn't figure out how to get the retention ring off (I...
