Top picture- hole covered from inside frame with a foam tape insert. Shipped like that. If J remove water and debris drain straight onto motor and wiring. Just seeing how it compares to others out there.
Seems some bikes have drain while others have foam tape from underside. Mine just fills with water on a wet ride which is game over for bearing.
Had to pack with poly foam to stop water pooling in there.
Just check it every ride if the wheel is out. Takes seconds to check that hanger torque or tightness. Riders have to be responsible for some daily/ regular maintenance.

Yep got one too. Trails, flowing single track and x c rides that do not need a full susser.
Been there and done all that as they say.. 2.6 tires are enough for what I need.
No point lugging the weight if uou dont need it. Can pedal it all day with power off on a flat trail.

Problem is that some of us fish and ride MTB. I ride my bike for free but pay £100's to fish on rivers and hate robbing prats who think they are able to fish for free. Most fish are reared and stocked in waters if a bailiff patrols them.
