At some point you will have to realize you have bad luck. Stop buying lottery tickets and accept it. The sooner you realize it, the easier life will be.
Regular fox 38 is race tuned out of the box. The e tuned is tuned for riding. Are you racing or riding? I have 3 buddies that run the e tuned forks and none of them wish they got the race fork.
Short guy note: I have a s3 and I tried the 170mm fork with a 29er on the front and the top tube was just to high. The setup jacks the front end up over 20mm and stand over went from 800mm to 818mm ish. I have a 29 inch inseam and it was balls to top tube time. I was very disappointed but I...
Go to YouTube and search “ Ottersports “. The guy has most of his content on a 21 Kenevo….. he really liked the sun tour coil($400) because it has a steel shaft. He is currently on an ext coil($1000+) shock.

Old thread….. when you smack into something unmovable( tree/rock/fat dog), that’s how a plastic bike fails. Not sure why anyone would warranty an impact frame failure.
Been on erides with people without the guards on Specialized bikes. One guy smacked the bb on a rock, the plastic cracked across below the bolt and the battery fell out or the frame….. long walk back to the trail head. Another guy hit hard on a small log and the charger door popped open and he...
Yea, my Velcro pulled off pretty quick. I removed the sticky part backing on the fabric and glued it to the frame. The holes are air vents, look on the rear of the Brose housing, on my Kenevo there is an air vent. This vent is why I run a rear fender.
Not sure, I have a 27.5 Zeb on my bike with 2.8 tires with no clearance issues. If you are going to plus tires, the 28mm rimes that come stock are to thin. I am running 40 mm iw rims.
All the pictures I see are with fox coils with steel shafts….. look at the Crome plating. Alloy shafts do not take Crome plating well. The first pic is from the rockshox site.
Please do a little more research on the shock, the shock on the new Kenevo has a steel shaft. It is only available on oem bikes. You can’t buy it after market.
As for what I would like to see in the new Kenevo….
The suspension design sucks, the high motion ratio is to high with a 230mm shock...

2 ways to go cheap on the fork, buy a z1 29er lower, or get a Rockshox Domain.
As for wheels, avoid any wheels with alloy free hub body’s. Jmo.
I have found that retailers are more responsible when dealing face to face. If you have a problem and all they have to do is hang up on you, well, good luck with that. I bought my Kenevo from a shop that is 5 miles from my house and it has been there for more than 30 years. My advice, pick the...
My buddies Rail had sram guides that were really weak. He bought some Code stealth ultimate levers and just replaced the levers for a little over $200 bucks. Brakes are awesome now.
