Yes. It didn't really help. You have to position it perfectly or it pushes the battery cover out, or still lets water in. You can't really seal the top of the cover by the screw either.

You can adjust the lock mechanism by loosening the two torx pin bolts (by the battery cover screw) and sliding the lock mechanism closer to the battery. It probably only needs to move a fraction. You will need the correct torx pin bit though. It's a 2 minute job.
