^ With a 180 mm dropper and a 65 mm stroke shock, you rear tire is probably going to hit your saddle at bottom out. I have a 62.5 mm shock and a 150mm dropper and I have about 5 mm of clearance at full bottom out. If I ever get my nut sack caught down in there, it’s going to be a mess!
I moved to a 160mm fork and it didn’t help with the pedal strikes. I have 5 broken ribs to prove it. The best thing you can do is just be aware of it. I was being lazy. I don’t like shorter cranks, so I’m not going to go that route.

I have the Z1 coil kit in my Fox Rhythm 36. With that and the X2 out back, I can’t complain about anything. This setup is 100% better than the stock setup for my 9.7. The amount of speed I can carry is amazing.
The X2 is very easy to set up. The recommended settings for the psi used to get 30% sag are very close. The only adjustment I made was to open the LSR adjuster by 2 clicks.

Who told you that? Because, per my contact at Fox, that’s not possible. If it were, they would be rebuilding shocks instead of replacing old ones with new ones.
