    Custom steel emtb motor choice

Love the Vessel! I WILL own a Vessel Downhill bike one day (probably when my Commencal frame cracks). That said, I have 2 Bafang bikes and really like them. I love the ability to repair everything myself and the parts are so cheap I keep a spare controller, display, and remote at all times...

Avinox launch 1500w M2S motor and cheaper M2 motor

I know a couple guys that swapped the older AXS (non-T type) on DH bikes. They swapped cages from a GX dh derailleur and since the GX DH stuff is based off of SRAM 11 speed the shifting can be adjusted very close.

Is it just me or did the 2026 bike releases disappoint?

I have to agree with @MeatBike on this one, the new Propain looks really enticing. It would be my pick of Avionx bikes. Another bike I figured would make a bigger splash is the new Norco Sight Bosch. At $4700 with a pretty decent spec and a good powerplant, its really tough to beat.

    Vitus E-Mythique Tech docs

I've been contemplating a linkglide swap for mine because I've pulled apart two HG 12 speed chains. Granted I was doing stupid stuff (climbing stairs on one and standing-and-power-pedaling on the other - both in Race mode) but it still makes me leary of the 12 speed stuff now. Its just hard to...

    Trp evo pro

I think one thing that kills TRP's for people (especially ones that came from shimano, like myself) is that the power is there, you just gotta grab it. It slowly comes in and ramps up near the end stroke. It takes alot more lever throw than your used to. I think that's why the pro's like them...

Fuel EXe Fuel EXE Alloy Real World Weight

I was wondering if anyone had real world weights for a Trek Fuel Exe (old, gen 1) Alloy bike? They are a pretty good deal currently and really like the removable battery of these bikes. Just curious on weight.

    DH World Cup thread

The family went to the first 2 big USDH races of the year, Tennessee Nationals and Pro Series at Rock Creek. These races had some of the most riders ever. I think Tennessee Nationals had 200 Cat 1 riders.

Sprindex..... which one to choose if you are in the middle?

I've always wondered if there's a noticeable ride difference in these springs ($150) vs the standard fox steel spring ($35) to justify the 4+ times cost difference.

    Mondraker Zendit Avinox

I just wonder if the battery is removable. Because of the embargo there's not been alot of info on the battery.

    Mondraker Zendit Avinox

A bike shop close to us is one of the largest Mondraker dealers in the eastern US and they said the stock will be VERY limited this year. They are only getting 5 bikes and one is a demo, so only 4 for sale. There is no timeframe for more stock currently.

New YT Decoy X Avinox Lanched

As someone who loves YT bikes and the way they ride (currently have 4 in the fleet), I have to agree with @Rando_12345. I would have a REALLY hard time giving them any more money. That said, a Decoy SN with the Avinox would sell like crazy!

Weird Reversed Stem Geo / Chat

I've been running this stem conventional style with a set of 80mm rise Deity bars on the downhill bike for 2 seasons. Has held up well.

Dude! Check out the rack on that one!

I have a 7 bike Velocirax and love it. Just got back from a 800 mile trip last weekend and heading out Friday for another 400 mile trip with it. Love the vertical rack. Once you get used to it you olny like a vertical rack. They are just so easy. That said, we are getting an enclosed...

    Lightweight bike for lighter rider?

There's some crazy deals on the Fuel EXE right now. You could pick one up and treat it like a frame only and build it to your liking for less money than most options currently. The Norco Sight VLT TQ looks pretty good right now too.

Bafang M510/M560 PCB Board problem...Can be fixed?

If I ever loose another PCB I think I'll get some circuit board sealer and just pot all the exposed stuff. I don't think it'll hurt anything.

One thing about uncut steering tubes is the leverage. I know Rockshox does not recommend more than 30mm of spacers under the stem due to leverage.

    Sidewalls: Downhilll vs Trail?

My last bike came with Conti Enduro casing tires and I found they were not as supportive as needed for me. I had to run 32-35psi to keep them from rolling the side wall on the rear in berms. I can run Maxxis DD easily and not have an issue so the Conti Enduo casing are not as stiff as DD. I...

@BeMoreBikes Are there any plans to release the direct mount for sale? This would be interesting on a downhill bike.

    Ergon SM10E saddle

I wish bike shops would "rent" saddles so you can try many to find the right one. I imagine it like the rent-a-tool that parts stores in the US do. You basically pay the price of the tool, borrow it to do what is needed and if you return the tool in good shape you get your money back. I don't...
