    TQ hpr50 firmware updates

Why can‘t TQ simply deliver on enabling this through the app? That and other simple additions, like additional modes? (… yes, a rhetorical sigh of disappointment).

TQ HPR50 to HPR60 upgrade on a Fuel ex-e: Is it worth it?

I think that is a poor translation from French that could be 'battery life'.

Specialized Levo R: We Rode It. Here's What You Need to Know

… this! … it‘s apparently ‚not a gravity-assist’ bike, meaning less climbing and so the battery can legit be smaller – loose a kg from the frame and 2kg from the battery. But then it might poach too much in SL territory.

Beta testers wanted: USB eBike charger

Aside from some of the comments above, I‘m not sure what the real-world benefit of this is. I still need a wall socket or other source. Then a USB-C charger plus this box and the cabling to the bike/battery - all of that vs. the charger that came with the bike. Is that delta enough? All of the...

TQ HPR50 to HPR60 upgrade on a Fuel ex-e: Is it worth it?

@Mteam only – Would you do it again? What *didn't* work out as you had hoped (assuming your motors worked just fine)?

TQ HPR50 to HPR60 upgrade on a Fuel ex-e: Is it worth it?

... simply don't engage unless needed, and if it responds without prompting, show it back to it's box.

TQ HPR50 to HPR60 upgrade on a Fuel ex-e: Is it worth it?

… stop, pls stop – it warbles on unnecessarily too much already!! 🤪

TQ HPR50 to HPR60 upgrade on a Fuel ex-e: Is it worth it?

Yep, letting the Edge track your power input from the Trek sensor only leads to falsified data. Anyway - I‘m looking at the same swap, so pls keep the reports coming, they are much appreciated 👍🏼

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

… see the very valid comments above. If you are hoping it will help get the bike up difficult, steep and/or tight terrain, you will be massively disappointed. I‘m pretty sure it was not tested for that as it really is not great.

TQ HPR50 to HPR60 upgrade on a Fuel ex-e: Is it worth it?

… at what cadence was that, and was it your usual cadence? Does the HPR60 tune for your EX-e have a different assist profile vs. cadence compared to the older motor? The torque sensor is notoriously inaccurate, both my first HPR50 motor and then the replacement measuring too high (x2.0 and...

Does this look like a crack?

Whilst it does appear to be the wrap, if it was my bike and I had dependents, I would peel that piece of wrap (or cut out just that section) and ‚know for sure‘ as opposed to only ‚guessing‘.

TQ HPR50 to HPR60 upgrade on a Fuel ex-e: Is it worth it?

Are you getting a warranty for the swap? I was told (through my LBS) that there is no warranty offered by Trek Germany. Also, €1750 for the motor alone. I‘m in the UK in the Spring, anyone with any infos on costs etc. for the swap?

Benefits of inverted forks with the price?

@Greg Watts - Can you summarise the Podium‘s teething issues, if any? In particular with regards to seals, leaking oil, or items breaking on the trail. Answer neutrally rather than assuming I only looking for bad news.

Now I wasn't expecting that: Orbea Rallon RS

The smaller motor and battery compared with other current SLs mean that the frame can be more svelt also - if I read properly, this is only 5lbs heavier than the non-e, instead of roughly 4-5kg for e.g. the Trek Fuel EXe. So is this perhaps what the SL category looks like in 3-5 yrs time but...

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

If you only want to commute, get a Skarper. The assist ramps up on the climbs. FWIW, I‘m selling one (in Germany). If you want an EXe and will use it in the Alps, you will very likely at least want an RE. The previous post about cruising speeds with/without is about right.

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

… both for max flexibility - but I live close to the Alps. On a Peaks trip last Autumn the RE + battery alone was fine - except when my buddy showed up with his FF Canyon. So it may depend on who you ride with.
