I have an Instinct A70 bike. I rerecive a "communication error 199" message from time to time. The controller level is 16.020, Display level 2.0.1, Battery level 31100554. My vendor reccomended on code update. Is anyone installed more update version? did someone gets any problem after it?
Don't warry, I bougth a new chain and replaced it, my concern is the idea that Rocky sent me to Shimano in case of problem with the chain. I bougth the full package from Rocky, and expect full service including all components from Rocky.

I agree with what you wrote, but bug is a bug, I see some other report with the same symptom, and I think that Rocky should find a solution. I already changed the screen, but it didn't help.
I'm in touch with rocky support and my vendor, they changed my screen last week, but the error 199 occured again, according to my vendor he will replace the cable between the screen and the motor.
