Trance E+ elite rear wheel alignment

Yes. The axle is fine. It’s a UDH so axle’s shorter than the dropout. It’s not bent, it’s carbon The dropout with seems perfect, I.e. boost wheel slides in perfectly Tyre is a 2.6, they are species with a 2.4 but I know some people have them with 2.6 from the factory

Does something look not right here? On the non drive side I have 15mm clearance on the chainstay, on the drive side about 5mm. could any advanced elite owners post a pic of theirs?

Yes, I see that. Is that the only difference other than the freehub body material?

    2023 Giant Trance X E+ / E+ Elite

Any chance you could take a pic from underneath so I can see the clearance on the chain stays? Mine looks very odd indeed, have about 15mm clearance on the non-drip side and 5mm on the drive side

    Hope Pro 5 hubs.

Not worth saving a few grams on an e-bike hub when the bike is 23kg. Durability is much more important IMO

    Hope Pro 5 hubs.

Just for my own clarification. Is there no difference between a pro5 Ebike and an regular pro5 other than the freehub?

The Giant Advanced E+ elite is pretty much this perfect bike, new cells, full power motor. It’s a mullet and a bit heavier than the Rise, but if Giant can do it so could Orbea! Pretty sure they won’t though, sales of Wilds would be affected

So is a 903/904 compatible/interchangeable? This is for a Whyte hub. Whyte pointed me in the direction of the 904 on the commercial site

    Rise - RAD measurements?

Having measured by RAD using the fists to ground method I get 85cm, although my height is only 180cm, my Large Rise seems a good fit, but maybe a little bit small if anything Also have a Whyte hardtail in medium with a very similar RAD to the large Rise. Tried a large Whyte hardtail with only...

    Rise - RAD measurements?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but just been thinking about RAD as I’m thinking about getting a new bike. If The "correct" way to determine the "right" RAD for you is a measurement of centre of clenched fist to ground, surely this means the longer your arms the shorter your RAD is or am I...
