I've had the same issue with my 2021 Trance E and my Garmin Fenix 7X and commented on other threads here. I asked my local Giant store about it and they refused to get involved. (I didn't buy the bike from them.)
I have a new problem now after another firmware update - my speed being reported...
Thanks for the update, Andy. Look forward to hearing whether it makes any difference. It would be so nice to get a resolution to this, because the issue is irritating enough to stop me buying another Giant eMTB in the future :-(
Thanks Andy. When you say "raised a support ticket" do you have a connection to Giant's support service that most of us don't, or are we all able to raise a ticket in the same way? It'd be worth everybody doing the same if we can.

Have you noticed any drop in cycling range for the bike when you're using the light on full power?
Also, do you know how...
I'm sorry for resurrecting this dormant thread but looking for information about connecting my 2021 Trance E+ to a Garmin watch. I don't own the watch yet so it's hard to test this myself.
With @JanCapek 's app I guess I can connect a watch to the bike, but I'd like to record details from the...
I've got a 2021 Trance with effectively the same Maestro rear suspension design. I've fitted Mucky Nutz MugGuards to mine. Long at the rear to protect the suspension and a short one at the front to protect my face. I'm really happy with them. They don't change the bike's silhouette too much...
