    Shimano Screen Upgrade Issue (SC-EM800)

This sounds like what happens when the input from the motor is plugged into the wrong port. Try the other ports see what happens. This is what mine did when I first installed it. When looking at it when sitting on the bike in rider position my motor connection is the second from left on the...

Why don’t you just contact the manufacturer and ask them rather than getting random opinions.

Orbea Rise. Suitable crank spider and chainring??

Yes that is exactly what you need. It says CL 53mm on it and it will fit the motor. Problem I encountered with replacing mine is that a lot of places advertise the spider as 53mm wherein fact it is 55mm. I know this because I have ordered a number of these from all over and ended up sending...

Anyone install their cascade link for rise yet ?

Yes I just installed mine and have a couple good rides on it. I’m using 2 offset bushings and bike is mulleted. Front fork is Fox 38 170 mm. It’s awesome! Definitely feel a little more travel and it’s more sensitive off top but no bottom out. I’ve hit a few good drops. It’s basically 170/172...

Orbea Rise. Suitable crank spider and chainring??

It’s 50 mm chainline. The chain ring will hit the chain stay. No good.

    SRAM AXS not responding

In the thread I saw someone took theirs apart and soldered in new pins themselves!

    SRAM AXS not responding

I’ve seen another thread with similar issue. The battery pins in the mech were not pushing out enough to make battery contact. Sounds like you have no power at all despite charged battery. I would just contact SRAM directly and try for warranty replacement.

    Crank falling off

I don’t know about that brand but for a shimano motor yes there are certain cranks that are “approved” for it. I’d guess yours is the same.

Could also try to unpair it then repair it over Bluetooth. Worth a try.

AXS reverb pulls up by hand!

Yes mine does this. Unfortunately I learned very soon after I got it that this also messes up the internal air/oil. Lifted it a couple times by accident (habit) with the post lowered and what happened is it became spongy when sitting on it. Had to use the little red tool to fix the air/oil...

I fixed the Ep8 motor rattle

Not so sure this a “fix”? If it is then why does the crank have play and motor rattle when the eThirteen crank is installed with the rubber boot? I know mine did. I replaced my cranks and put shimano on without the rubber boot. Motor still rattles exactly the same, not better not worse. At first...

Orbea Rise. Suitable crank spider and chainring??

Cool thanks. I guess just generally I’d still like to know how much any variation in chain line matters. There is the shimano spider/ring that is 55 mm chain line. Would it be ok to use that on a 53 mm bike? How much can you deviate?
