My 9.8xt does not have compensation screws, it has machined black aluminium inserts that are not adjustable.

Soft jaws in vise, rock back and forth while pulling up on the wheel. Takes some doing but it will eventually get there. Be mindful you don't smack yourself in the nose when it lets go 😉

Anyone know of a chainring bash guard that is compatible with the exe? Looks like the chain guide is designed specifically for this bike.

Mostly eco set to 100w and 100% with maybe 20% of the ride in mid 180w and 100%

Absolutely nothing wrong with the range on the exe. Rode 32km with 1043m elevation and had 22% battery remaing today.

One positive is that all the upgrades over the 9.7 only set you back $1600 which is pretty good value. My positive is that I get to have 160mm cranks which suits my height and riding style better :) There is always a silver lining.
