Evening, I have the correct tool to remove the lockring on the gen 4 and I understand I have to undo clockwise, but the whole chain ring spins. It doesn’t lock into place how do I stop it spinning so I can unlock the lockring?
I want to upgrade the rear shock on my 2023 e160s.
But odd sizing 230x57.5 apparently this is extremely difficult to find!
Could I go 230x60 easily would I need to do anything?
So when my chainguide shat itself, I noticed that the crank arms are slightly wobbly - which may have caused the chainguide to break .
how do I tighten the crank arms up?
I have a Whyte e160s that I love. But I have a bonus coming of approx £300, and don’t know what to buy.
I’ve already changed the brakes to MT7’s.
Would there be any benefit to changing wheels? If so what ones?
Getting a new whyte, which doesn’t have a screen which is fine. But may use the bike for bikepacking so would be good to connect the phone for route directions.
So mous or quadlock and why?
So couldn’t get the rsx at the deal I wanted. So going for the 160s, which was specced with shimano Deore brakes and xt gear set, but now been changed to go eagle and guide re brakes. I could ask for the shimano equipped bike, but it’s an ex demo or go for a new sram bike!
What would you do?
I have a betd shock pump that I thought was going to be good. My god it’s awful, so difficult to put air into the shock. To the point where it has caused me a problem with my shoulder.
So what’s a good shock pump please.

Now as we all know ebikes put more stress through components, but how long would expect wheel bearings to last (oem wheels).
Changed the sealant on my tubeless rear last night, and now there’s a sound like something rolling through the wheel, I can isolate the noise with the ear to the...
Following my recent crash which broke my 2 day old kiox head unit, where would you say the safest space on the bars is to mount the unit.
currently using the supplied setm mount. not I didn’t have a lanyard fitted that may have caused it not to break
As per title, broke my 2 day old kiox unit ( the clip tha forces it into the connectors) and Bosch don’t appear to sell just the case.
so hoping I might be able to just replace the back which will be cheaper than buying a brand new unit
Out at swinley and all was good. On the ride home, my mate shouts car and my hands weren’t on the bars properly. Pulled the brake but body and bike effectively folded.
fortunately I’m ok except for a big gash on my leg, ripped my tyre! Less than a month old, scuffed the tops of the...
