32T chain ring is probably too small. Standard is 34 and 36 works well for me. Still rarely use the larger rear cogs. Alloy will also wear really fast - this bike has a lot of power.

I run a 210 dropper on my XL. Very rarely run it fully up or down. Not sure a 240 would "better" but I guess I would then have the choice.

No bashguard. Dont ride too many rocks and the steel chainring will deal with anything else ;)

Local DH with a parallel and similar uphill. Both 1.53k. 3:43 down, 4:10 up.

No - none that I can see. Local Velduro dealer says he fits them to most bikes he assembles.

1st ride with the Praxis 36t chainring. Seemed a lot quieter - at times the idler gear noise seemed non existent, at other times it was there but only just. Did 2 PBs on Strava but couldnt say these were due to the chainring - more likely that the trails were damp and therefore grippier.

550lb spring seems perfect for my 100kg weight on a DVO Jade X Prime.

Fix from Velduro was to use some 3M UHB tape - looked a bit rough and not really that great on a near $20k bike....

Watching a couple of videos of my rides, its surprising how much bike noise there is - but I dont really notice it during the ride. I can hear the freewheel while riding, the occasional brake squeal, and the rebound 'swish' of the DVO fork, but other than a bit of motor 'whir' the Velduro bits...

The rubber chainstay protector on my XL has been damaged and is starting to come off after only 130km. Measuring the width of the chainstays approx. 300mm (size 12 shoe) behind the pedal axle, they are around 190mm wide. By comparison, my XL Reign E+ is around 150mm, and my wifes large Polygon...

XL frame, 99kg, 43Km, 948m, 37% battery left. Sunny and warm 23 celsius. Dry with a mix of loose, firm, rooty terrain. Mainly in auto. Pretty happy with that. Same ride on my Reign e+ with a 625w battery would have seen me walking home 5km ealrier.

Not sure I would go for the full Ridewrap again. Some bits really didnt fit that well - XL frame - most notably the cutout on the bottom of the down tube.

Cant really see that this bike would need more power. I've dialled back auto mode (where I spend 90% of my time) to 80nm and 700w max, with trail mode 85nm and 800w. Turbo mode is too much for most trails I ride, but good on fire roads. Boost is fun for a bit but too easy to loose traction if...

All seems OK to me. Plenty of overlap past the decals as well.

Doesn't need it. Climbs pretty well. Have had bikes in the past that did benefit from a lockout but this isnt one of them.

Mine is 2 weeks old - has the DJI branded motor. It rattles but who cares....

Good ride on my XL today. Found it to be quite agile compared to my 22 Reign e+. Definately not sluggish - didnt feel heavy either. Cleared a few jumps I've been struggling with on the Reign. Got home with a smile on my face! 33km and 818m, with 43% charge remaining in tweaked (85nm, 700w)...

Went with Sram rotors 220/200 front/back and very happy with them - 100kg + gear. Didnt get Maguras coz all that I have had rattle.
