morning, just a quick update on my replaced freehub, 2 months have gone by and i must commend giant Newcastle on there after service and professionalism they replaced the stock giant freehub to a HOPE freehub costing more than double the price and up to now its been superb not a single issue...

i was told by giant that they replace all spokes for new ones on the rebuild, every thing working as it should and loads of rides in since the replacement!

Well the bike went in yesterday and it looks like it’s in for a while, Giant Newcastle have told me what I thought had happened, the free hub is bolloxed! Prob not the way they put it! Any way the are contacting Giant and are awaiting a response, they have said that the repairs will be covered...

i think thats the best way to go iv sent a link to the forums so the shop can read the reviews, i think it would be good for giant to know how customers are feeling! love the bike wouldnt want any other however they need to sort this problem asap

I’m from Newcastle in England I’m taking the bike in Saturday morning, been in touch and sent them a small video of the noise, I got a reply saying all the right things I’ll keep you guys posted with the outcome! Giant need to act swiftly

My free hub has started making loud noises on me today when not pedalling also not engaging when I tried to pedal!! B***ox I’ve gadthe bike for 6 weeks and loving it but it’s going into giant on Saturday for them to look at it! So disappointed, pleased I got home with it!!
