i have a 2017 that i retrofitted (upgraded!) with the factory handlebar switch from a 2018. i’ll admit that the walk assist can be finicky, and it’s hard to keep your thumb on it sometimes. i have had to turn the bike on and off before to re-activate it. but, it is a godsend! i use it every ride...

i have 2 motors now too! a 1.3 with another year of warranty and a 1.2 which is working but was getting hot and cutting out. gonna send the 1.2 out to get rebuilt and have that spare ready. planning to keep my 2017 levo for as long as i can.

i have a 2017 that ate a battery last year, but it showed healthy and no codes. symptoms i got before it quit was that it would cease to assist earlier and earlier. at first would cut out at 3% then 5% then 11% then just quit. replaced quickly. but no code.
