I've a Strike and before purchasing looked into the warranty, my understanding is that the Scott warranty only applies to the element they make - namely the frame. All other warranty issues are directed to the specific manufacturer of the item, or......the dealer if new.
Can you borrow another bike to ride with them?
If so, make sure you have a full charge and the bike you're selling has a minimal charge sufficient for the demo.
I've a 2021 Strike 940 and out of the box the front brake is on the right! I appreciate you've had photo's of the Genius, however if pic's of the cable routing on mine would help just ask.
I've made the change to mine earlier this year (on a 2021 Scott), everything worked from the off - and yes it's just plug and play. The biggest bonus was managing to run the cables without dropping the motor, I found the cable was movable so just tied a piece of string to the existing connector...
