No. The E10 takes only M500/M510/M600 Bafang motors as they use a common mounting pattern, one very different than the BBS* motors.

Without digging into this (I haven't run this but am aware of the process and networking etc) - your background command line window seems to be resolving the bafang host externally instead of to your localhost... which is kind of the point of the 'bypass' to work..

Thx, people are constantly asking on sizing. :D I'm 6' running a M frame (E10, not to confuse anyone further..) which is OK (with 170-200mm dropper). Probably should have gone L but this way I'm slowly convincing my wife to ride it to get a second one. EBR is the 'short list' ;) 'most'...

@Neeko DeVinchi How tall are you? You mentioned this in context of the 180mm and BB height, reach etc., but not height? RE: What Luna has done = they did a custom VESC controller for the X2 (full replacement, I have pics somewhere of mine pulled), not the same as the 'shunt mod' done on the X1...

The X1 was the E09, the X2 is indeed the E10.

True enough, but there are also different standards of quality and other things (e.g. longevity) even the 'same' product, branded for different manufacturers, is held to. Entirely possible, for example a cheap no-name fork comes out of the same factory as a RockShox or other brand, even copies...

Not familiar with the Boxxer, but most use the shorter offset for 27.5 and the larger offset for 29ers. 37mm offset looks low to me though - my Yari is 46mm offset running 27.5". I think DVO forks are like 40-42mm 27.5 or 44mm 29er. I know at least one person in one of the M500/600/cheeb...

Looks right. Luna X2 variant and I think Dengfu full bike come with 160mm travel (can't locate E10 dengfu full bike, maybe b/c from US, or it's just down again - from Dengfu full bike may be 150mm). Some have also gone to 170mm fork travel...

Is that Dynamat/sound-reduction on the inside of the motor cover plate? Added by you or did it come that way? Looking forward to hearing how the ride went!

Looks right (tapered headset) - 'standard' on the X2 incarnation is 160mm fork, but several E10 builders have also used 170mm.

You can try asking @Ben Rides but these AFAIK are speciality parts (unfortunately)

Probably the Medium. I’m 183cm with a Medium frame. Realistically I could have gone Large but wanted my wife to occasionally use it. YMMV as usual, but at 177cm I’d wager a Med frame E10 would fit well. Matte finish will pick up and ‘hold’ dirt easier, while the gloss should clean up easier...

:D I was thinking for my M600 but fair point.. ;) The M500 I rode wasn’t bad, but it definitely felt odd dropping assist, was smooth enough, just ‘that’s it?’ If that limit cant be bypassed, yet another use if someone does a DIY HMI/controls - getting to boost should be a single button..

I've seen the DP C242 display images, but not on Bafang's site. Anyone know real details on it, including availability and # of PAS levels supported? (e.g. the 3/5/9 options or only 5)? The control pad for it at the least is an improvement over DP C240/241.

No need to defend it, the point was simply acknowledging different users, different desires/'needs.' Not sure where you're getting any of this from - I never claimed anything like 'everyone' wants to do anything DIY at all. Your assumption about using 'older displays' just wasn't on point for...
