I had to send the entire bike back to Shimano/Madison in the end to get it fixed. But get this, they've fitted a new motor, and the cause of the original failure was because it was set up for an 11-spd bike, but mine is a 10-spd (ie, not a VR).

Anyone dropped the motor on their vitus yet? Got a new dropper to install and the cable routing snags directly above the motor, a rats nest of cables.
Are the big torx (t40?) bolts on the left hand side of the bike regular threaded? Proving stubborn to remove and don't want to break anything!

Does anyone know if this will fit a medium frame? IE, the overall length. I've got a 2019 e-sommet, and heard some stories about the seat tube being tapered?
Is anyone running either a frame bag or saddle bag to carry spare tubes / tools? Tired of carrying them on my back tbh. It's a bleedin' minefield of choice, hence would sooner know what works!
Picked up my new e-sommet the other day (arrived without a scratch on it) and it's an amazing bike. Totally love it. Been throwing it down some trails and have noticed when it gets really rough that there is quite a loud rattling, almost sounds as if a bolt is loose. I assume it's the battery...
