Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

... and still no DVO shocklist. Whadda what WOT!? The Jade X is a def yes @65mm stroke on a Medium.

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

As per "The PDF" ... I think this was actually emailed as a link to me by Velduro Int. I just pulled the motor out again to add some carbon grease - discovered that one of the front spacers had completely sheared off from the cylinder section, which is still stuck in the frame hole. If there's...

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

I didn't receive any extra shims from the bike store that built up the bike. I might go to a hardware store and look for some very thin washers that will fit.

Installed as shown in the pdf from Velduro website.

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

... so, a question - while I'm on this forum not actually working, how many Rogue owners have experienced the motor/frame mount creaking issue? I got my frame in Dec '25 and after a few weeks of riding started to get this kind of "cracking/creaking" sound on first initial pedal strokes. After...

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

Whaaaat? Australia has a 25kph limit??? You should move to NZ - where we get the full 45kph. Also, it would help offset the number of kiwis leaving for Aus!

What's everyone's take on the Velduro MTB?

Naaaaw, thx. Just trying to keep it real lolz. Yep, the frame creak is a bit disconcerting. Like a dog, its bark is prob worse than its bite, but it's not pleasant to hear as yr always thinking that maybe it's not good? It also was a fair bit of dicking around b4 getting to the spacer fix, then...

What's everyone's take on the Velduro MTB?

Personally, I would say the downhill certified Velduro frame is a much safer bet than the Amflow at yr weight. But if yr just riding normal everyday flowy trails, the Amflow will do the job well enough. But I'd rather have a bike I know can handle the bigger stuff than ride a bike that's hitting...

What's everyone's take on the Velduro MTB?

My personal, very non-expert, very average riders take - having owned one since December '25 ... I bought the frame only option so I could switch a bunch of parts from my Gen4 Trek Rail 7, except for a new XT drivetrain, XT brakes and a new DVO Jade X coil. Went for a pretty vanilla setup, but...

    Yamaha YDX Moro- sensor issue?

Thankfully I don't ride this bike ... and it was very cheap as Yamaha were pulling out of the NZ e-bike market. Prob should have just paid more and got my wife a reliable Trek Rail.

    Yamaha YDX Moro- sensor issue?

Thx for that. After a couple of hours I managed to fix the issue. The problem was that the outer housing of the plastic sensor device was no longer holding inside where the centrelock rotor screws into the hub. The sensor wasn't rotating properly with the wheel. TBH it is an atrocious design...

    Yamaha YDX Moro- sensor issue?

My wife's bike has started having issues - possibly with the sensor? I took off the back wheel to replace the Magura centrelock rotor (because it wouldn't stop squealing like a pig) and when I put a new one on we started having intermittent issues with the controller lights flashing on and off...

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

At least you guys are communicating directly with yr customers. Not something you will usually get from a lot of big bike brands. I think a lot of peeps just don't recognise the immensity of releasing a new e-mtb into the global market. Gotta be pretty daunting!

Magura MT7 brakes drive me crazy

Had same issue on another bike with mt5 brakeset. In the end the only thing that fixed it was replacing the rotors.

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

I put in an order a few weeks ago for the frameset only, in Medium. One of the very few times living in NZ has been an advantage when it comes to buying mtbs! I've pulled some of the upgraded bits off my Trek Rail - but going for a very modest Shimano XT linkglide 11spd drivetrain and XT 4pot...

Canyon K.I.S. (Keep It Stable) - In frame Steering Damper

... and there I was thinking that's what yr arms were for!? But seriously, does this product portend the demise of modern civilisation?

    Another Kiwi Rider

Can you share a link. Would like to meet some other riders and maybe car pool if poss ... since Woodhill is a 100km round trip!

Other 2023 Trek Rail with TQ motor

Had a look at a Fuel EXe in-store the other day. Lovely bike and noticeably lighter. But still NZ$11,500 for the mid range model - and the components weren't anything to write home about (mostly Shimano SLX drivetrain, Fox Rhythm 36 ... but did have carbon wheelset). Also not stocking the warm...

What action cameras are you all using

I've used the DJI Osmo action and a GoPro Hero10. Hero10 is technically a better camera, but the Osmo (discontinued) was easily 90% as good and I found the GUI was better to navigate. Gopro has frozen numerous times while recording (possibly card was not quite fast enough, but worked fine for...
