Overall a nice update over the...
While I went with a 210x52.5, the shop where I bought my shock from says 210x55 is no problem. Also if you search here, you will find info of others that put the slightly longer stroke shock with no issues.
First off to give you some perspective, i've been riding mountain bikes off/on since 1993. Been riding and tracking motorcycles since 2004. I'm a solid size M on most/all of my bicycles. I am 5' 7" and have a 29" inseam.
OK I get it. Your issue is with the standover height and how you don't...
^^ Whoa wall of text :) Honestly, the stand over height shouldn't be of concern on any modern mtb, if you are struggling to get your foot on the ground, and falling over on pavement, I suggest getting a small HT and practice it around until you are comfortable riding a bike.
None of what you...
I'm a size medium on my '21 Turbo Levo and the fit is absolutely perfect. Looking to buy a '22 Gen 3 model and debating between S2 and S3. When going through the size chart, it looks like my 2nd gen bike in Medium is closer to an S2 (small) than the S3 (medium) in regards to reach and overall...
I can tell that the base 2021 base levo wheel does not have a rear hub based on dt 370. I happen to have wheelsets with dt 370 hubs and the freehub body is entirely different.
It is an unbranded hub manufactured by some company I've never heard of, but specialized does have a part number for...
My wife's 2021 Turbo Levo base did not come with a rear hub based on Roval or DT. I believe it is a hub made by 'bear pawls' or something like that. It was a pain to find both front end caps for the hub and an XD freehub body for the rear hub. I ditched those wheels and put on i9 Enduro wheels.
First ride done on the float x! I ran about 20psi lower than the previous dpx2 to get the same sag. Went down a familiar fast flow trail with little 3 foot jumps. Shock feels different than the dpx2. I can pump on it easier and handles small bumps really well. Overall, I'm happy but will still...
Not what I've read and watched.
My dpx2 factory is on my wife's bike now. If I don't end up liking the float x, I'll just swap with her bike :)
I also have a cascade link coming.
