I put on a schwalbe Big Betty 2.4 in. Super gravity casing on the rear. Its fantastic. I never want to run a Maxxis on my bike again i found it to be that good. I also run cushcore. I have an assegai DH casing on the rear on another bike, with cushcore and that feels ok too.

It's just behind the motor. Where the rear triangle meets the frame/bottom bracket area if I remember right. It's a bit of a pain to see/read. My E1 starts with an MD, for Medium sizing I imagine.

At the time, the E1 was the only thing in my price range that was in stock. I've had a great time on it. My local mountain next to me is a 500m climb, so my battery would be below 60% on a single climb and it was no fun trying to manage the battery all the time.

Not a chance. The E1 takes the BTE-8035 and the E2 takes the BTE-8036. the BTE-8036 is a physically longer battery. There is a battery, the BTE-8035L which is a 504wh battery thats just longer, to match the dimensions of the 8036, which Marin SHOULD have used in the E1 so you could easily...

If you have a strange noise coming from your bike, then it needs to be fixed by the shop/dealer. It comes down to your consumer rights. Products not working as expected, not of a quality you'd expect for the price, fit for their intended purpose etc. The fact its nothing to worry about according...

I checked my motor. It moves freely when back pedalling. when cranking forward and backward like you were, I don't have anything like you have happening. It's probably time to contact your dealer/bike shop or Shimano.

I will check my E1 tonight. How many kms are on the motor? I thought I had a motor issue in December and Shimano said it was a worn "wave washer" which is common and an easy fix for them. It turns out my chain was just REALLY worn and not the wave washer at all. Got to ask the obvious...

Pull your cable tight feom under the battery. Its a 2 handed job. Pull from the headtube outside the bike and feed it from under the battery. Probably the dropper cable.

Video from a quick ride the other day. I've also been thinking of changing out my air spring in my Yari from a 160mm to a 180mm and putting a 27.5 wheel on the front. The extra 20mm travel height will be offset by a reduction of 20mm in ground to axle height, so everything should stay the same...

Air in the lines. Probably trapped at the caliper behind the piston. Put a cup on top with fluid, tube on the caliper and open the caliper and use a piston spreader tool to push the pistons all the way in to push any trapped air out.

Got out after some rain. Conditions were super greasy and slippery. Everything felt slow. Got bitten by a huge ant, attacked by leeches, nearly rode over a red bellied black snake and one of the guys took a small crash and ended up with a rusty piece of old 2mm wire stuck in his calf about 50mm.

I changed for the same reasons. I love the low standover but had to run the post high out of the frame for proper leg extension when climbing on asphalt roads. My post was about 40mm out of the frame with the stock dropper and I could live with that, so the extra 40mm with the 190mm dropper gave...

Just the dropper but it worked fine with the remote. I have an E1 so the E2 may have a different dropper/remote? The ks i rage is a slightly different set up to hold the cable at the dropper. It uses the cylinder end of a brake cable to attach to the dropper. The stock one uses a small grub...

Ive put a 190mm in a medium frame and it works fully slammed down. I got the Ks rage dropper or something. Works great and cheap.

Ive had issues early on with the hardware bolts (torx) rounding out from tightening. I wouldn't be surprised about low quality hardware. I've put a hard 1000km on my bike and dont have any movement i can notice. I had a creaking shock but located it to the bottom shock bolt. Cleaned it...

I'd take the bolt off, clean it, feel how the bearing is, re-grease it and see what happens. have you washed it with a hose/low pressure water/high pressure water? Water might have gotten in and picked up some grease/dirt and being worked out of the bearing.
