Had a great day yesterday, having 2 different models of the gas gas new bikes , the ecc6 and the mxc6 , really liked the bikes , the mxc6 had really sharp handling compared to its big brother 29er , the suspension is nice on both bikes , I think the air shock was a little plusher though , but...
Generally when we do big rides in the Yorkshire dales , we do around 36 miles with 4500 feet of climbing mainly on eco and have around 14% battery left , back home in the cotswolds I would get 42 miles on eco and trail with and the odd turbo mode pressed , with about 2000 feet climbing I would...
I had a 2020 cube action team , nice bike only trouble I had was the e13 cranks flexing and starting to touch the rear chain stay , my dealer swapped them out for cubes own cranks , the dealer has now dropped cube because they warranty back up was so poor , and I’ve heard the same from other dealers
Hi all, had the chance to ride the gas gas ecc6 yesterday, nice bike and the sram auto shift is really good , the one thing that will take some getting use to is the coast shift, it weird changing gear and you not pedalling but the chain is going round, but it all works great plus it can let you...
17 months ago I went the opposite way, went from Bosch to browse, and personally I think it’s the best decision I’ve made , really like the deployment of power and tuning it to my preferences ,
Think I like it 🤦🏼♂️, certainly get a lot for ya money , I certainly wouldn’t be worried about its weight and I bet the thing slices through every thing you throw at it
I’m running the same bike and actually followed the specialized recommendations on there web site , then literally made a couple of tweeks and for me it’s the best suspension I’ve had , had fox factory 38’s on my last bike which was a cube and factory shock and I think the 36 is way more...
I’m 6,1, on a s5 , found the s6 to big, really comfy on the s5 Never had the feeling of going over the bars on it , but for me it did take some time to get use to the bigger front wheel after having a 27.5 on my previous bike ,
Yea ride it , I really like the weight of a full fat ebike , actually feels more planted, could go either way your grow to love it or hate it , I’m on my 3rd ebike now , 1st was a gen 1 levo , that did feel like a tank after riding an orange 4, second was a cube 160 action team stereo, that...
nothing wrong with Merlin cycles , pretty good on prices too, I think I’ve had most of my new tyres from them , as they seem to have the best prices regularly
They are just brilliant to ride , from what I hear great back up from dealers , my best mate is on his 3rd and has had issues with them all , but got them sorted out the same day at raceco cycles , Ive had a gen 1 now a gen 3 , and I’m saying this touching wood , no issues on either of mine ...
I use Ergon ga3 grips , really help my wrists and ergon emtb saddle , with the raised rear profile supposed to stop you sliding backwards when climbing, but it’s really comfortable, I have no discomfort on my 30-40 mile rides
