I did it. Took her out for her first run. Been doing the final touches over the last week like mudguards and chain guide. I will post all the specs later but its the Bafang M600 on the E10 frame with 27.5 wheels front and back, Rockshox Yari fork, Fox seat dropper, 11 speed cassette, Brooks...
I just ordered my frame and motor last autumn, so probably nylon but was looking to get a spare so I am not stranded too long if I strip this one out. They are kind of pricey.
Hello, there may be an answer to this elsewhere but I cant find it. Is there a UK or European seller where I could get this gear from to save on shipping cost. Luna wants $50 to ship to UK.
Cheers, Mike
Thanks, I found it in the end, it was in with the keys for the battery lock, go figure. Tried ordering some from Amazon but couldnt get the correct size.
Hi all, I have seen one chat on the E10 lower battery charging point, but don't seem to have a nut to go on inside of the frame the back of the connector to hold it in place. Did anyone have the same problem?
Peanut butter, smooth or crunchy, been using it since 1997, works perfectly. Just ensure you get it under the treadle so they really have to work at it. My mice are quite big but living near a river doesn't help. :)
I used to make oil sump gaskets out of cork but it may be too thick. As this is not a pressurized seal a little bit of silicone or mastic would fix any splits and like mentioned above spray a little AFC-50 to help keep any moisture out.
With a quick search, I find this one from LUNA but searching the internet I am sure the has to be some more local. I havent gotten this far yet. Luna M600 Silent Gear
Hello, am currently working on my E10 build and haven't quite got to the motor install yet. Where is this card located? in the motor housing or in the frame? I want to check mine over and any seals, etc. Cheers, Mike
Hi everyone, I am no bike expert, but now building my own E10/M600. Having worked on aircraft for years as an electronics tech, I can say two things here. If water can get in, which it will, you must either leave it an exit at the low point or open it up every now and then to air out. Secondly...
Bullseye is my fav, or Sweet Baby Rays, original flavor only, burnt nicely on both sides and then slowly slathered with more sauce, until meat is cooked. (untranslatable into Española')
Apologies if someone has already asked this question. On the M600 motor, what are the three treaded holes on the right side of the motor? Are they for a chain guide installation?
Cheers, Mike
That's looks quite durable, I was thinking of some kind of thick plastic or rubber. Do you think the motor needs any holes in the guard for cooling. noted the original one has some. Not such a concern in English weather tho'
