Does anyone know where I can purchase an S-Mag bearing rebuild kit in the US that has the water sealing features and the Sprag clutch with the steel cage? Seems I can only get the upgrade if I send the motor in for rebuild.
Thanks !
Thanks. It would clearly need to be disassembled for any maintenance. One rebuild group I reached out to said it could be the shaft needle bearing.
I’m here in AZ and water ingress is not an issue. However “fine AZ road dirt” could be worse.
Thinking of going in and change the drive belt and...
Has anyone experienced the motor continues to assist even after pedaling has stopped? I have to pedal backward to disengage. Is there a cleaning and lubrication needed or a Mission Control Setting? Thanks for the advice!
So I heard it said many times . . . "You ain't rode if you ain't been throwd . . . ." We had a similar experience many years ago with a rider that decided that Teddy Bear Cholla was his preferred landing pad. Of course a picture was taken before assistance was rendered. Don't still have the...
I had a very similar failure mode on the piston (cracked edges). I attributed to my clumsy pushback of the pistons during a new set of pads and a bleeding. I did order replacement parts from Ali express. Takes a while to receive ( appx 3 weeks). I also bought a replacement caliper in the...
When I first heard the front noise it was shortly after I bought my Turbo. Was the wrong headset preload(torque). Problem solved by shop.
I have heard it a couple of times since then but found out it was ….. …. …. My helmet. It creaked when hitting certain obstacles. Just an observation …...
Paolo, How do I know the version of my BLEvo? What is the latest version? Is there a charge for the updated version? Thanks!
BTW an awesome App.
Only downside is apple watch Heart Monitor integration but I understand the complexities of the IOS/Watch IOS and integration . . .
Does anyone know where the current "Service Bulletins" are posted for Turbo Levo Comps (or other specialized bikes)? Would be nice to have a heads up on current issues BEFORE they become my issues :?)
I get the same whining. "I'll get one when I'm old". It takes a great deal of skill and stamina to ride more technical trails, longer distances at faster speeds. I recently bought an analog bike and guess what, I can still keep up with my other analog buddies fairly closely. But a typical...
I have retorqued my head set bearing and eliminated the click … but one time I found the inner wiring under the display was the issue. Very near the headset!! Dastardly!!
Has anyone thought about why this person would steal the bike? Feeding a family, feeding a habit, wanted an ebike to ride to get to work or ??? . . . I would suggest looking at local "craigslist/Ebay" boards or pawn shops. May turn up there. Trying to be constructive.
I am in the desert SW and tore 10+ knobs from my rear stock butcher tyre after 500 miles. Is this to be expected? Running 27 psi in rear. Fairly rocky decomposing granite terrain.
KIWI, AMAZING !! This stood my hair up on end like sliding on pea gravel toward a desert ravine !! But in a REALLY good way. I have been searching for this. With the cost of these bikes, the technical data is tough to find!! THANK YOU !!
THANKS RUTI!!
I am definitely getting assistance (thank goodness :?) )
I'll keep an eye out on that.
I may devise an indicator or some sorts to determine tire spacing. Piece of silly putty or similar. Also look for witness marks.
Appreciate your help!
Happy pedaling!
Mike
What are the symptoms prior to the belt failure? I have noticed a "grinding gear like" sound when I G-out in dips (not bottom out) (Quite like non-Etbm when you pedal backwards). I am only 270 mile out on my 2021 Turbo Levo (gen 2) Any and all thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers!
