I'm currently looking for a decent motor guard for the Focus Sam2 6.9 2021 and found one from AVS which looks great but quite pricey at around £120 by the time I pay postage. Can anyone recommend another motor guard to fit this bike and where I could find one to please ?

In hindsight, anybody who doesn't know anything about mtb would look at that sticker and think that they can't be over 120kg in weight. Otherwise its a bit like saying your car can only carry 100kg of luggage because you have to take into account the weight of the car. It makes no sense

Thanks for the reply. When I've gone onto the Focus website it recommends a size Large for my height and they claim that the XL is for people starting from 191cm. I'm hoping that I'll find it's ok for me. Do you think putting a 35mm stem on this bike will make its handling worse ?
