First ride on the Öhlins TTX Coil shock

Thanks so much for the help! Sounds like the 571 is a bit much so I will look hard at the 548 I see from your thumbnail you've moved on to maybe the 19 levo?

First ride on the Öhlins TTX Coil shock

Hi, thinking of getting one of these shocks for my 18 levo. can you elaborate on whether the extra 1.5lbs of weight from the shock was even noticeable? Also, what pound spring did you go with and do you ride aggressive(jumps, drops, etc) or just singletrack talked to a rep at ohlins and he...

Turbo Levo - Öhlins coil shock?

Hey guys, just talked to a guy at ohlins and he recommended a 548 or 571 spring. After telling him I mostly ride tame trails but do venture to more downhill jump lines and techy terrain he said get the 571 the charts above are they for a standard mountain bike which could be misleading. Guess he...

    Blue Ridge Mountains / Virginia

Man I wish I would of seen this post sooner. Had I known you were in the states I would have made the trip to ride along. Did you find some access in Virginia? When you come back bentonville Arkansas is a great place to ebike. Huge trail network and a bike park.

Hey dudes. MTB YouTuber and soon to be E-Bike owner.

Hey Luke, kinda similar situations. Don’t get to ride often so bike fitness is never enough to sustain me to ride as long as I want to. I just got the s works Levo three weeks ago and like Rob has said it has reignited my desire to get out there. Instead of one hour and done it’s 2 to 3 hours...

Levo cuts out at 17mph (27kph)

So frustrating, can’t stand when a business elects to baffle you with bull#%\ instead of just telling you they don’t know and let us get back with you after we do some research. Thank goodness for forums like this to get real info about issues such as this. I will be checking this for sure...

Picked up a Kenevo and had some coaching

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the comparisons of the Levo/Kenevo The Kenevo looks awesome but would have to believe you will lose some of the fun factor with the beefier bike.

full suspension, 500 Wh battery, less than 18 kg!

This is a head scratcher. Just can’t see how they’ve shaved off almost 5kg in comparison to the s-works. I would have to see it to believe it. But if they have that’s really impressive

full suspension, 500 Wh battery, less than 18 kg!

Got to be in the motor then because the Turbo Levo s-works is all carbon and kitted with top end components and still weighs over 20kg I think

This is exactly what I experienced on my demo. I felt like I could throw the bike around on the downhill also never felt like I was cramped or uncomfortable. Just wonder if it would have been a different experience on a large in terms of playfulness. Thanks for all the input from everyone!

What size Levo is everyone riding and how tall are you? I’m normally riding size large but the Levo I demoed was a medium. It actually felt really good! Wondering if that’s why the bike actually felt playful being a little shorter wheelbase and a tad lighter. Oh by the way I’m 5’11”

Update...looks as though I will be waiting it out for the new levo in mid June after all. Seems as though I uncovered a major theft ring as the bike turned out to be stolen. It didn't even show up stolen when I gave the serial number to specialized customer service. Also checked bikeregistry.com...

    Insurance question (UK)

Be careful attaching to homeowners. I learned the hard way DO NOT claim anything on homeowners unless its substantial like a tree falling on the house or major water damage made a small claim once and then had a water issue later and claimed that then my homeowners doubled almost tripled and...

Yeah, its a big letdown. Demoed it last week and just now got the smile on my face to go away...lol That's why this is so tempting I'm currently checking insurance companies to see what policies I could get to cover myself where specialized will not

Thanks for the responses so far, good stuff! I plan to call specialized Monday and first check registration and from there talk about warranty policy. Maybe talk about cost of replacement parts to weigh it all out. The guy that has the bike lives in Arizona and I'm in Memphis so would be hard...
