Steve took me around some of the route on Friday and even though I wasn't fully fit there was nothing overly difficult, but it is imperative to keep concentration.

Count me in :) Having been shown and ridden some of the route yesterday I can concur with Steve that it may not be suitable unless you're confident and competent on all of the red trail and the downhills.

I will be doing the red route but relatively steady (no jumps anyway ;)) as I fractured my collar bone 4 weeks ago

Although they are called 'mountain' bikes surely it is all about having fun and not how many mountains you can climb ;) and we certainly had fun yesterday :)

No I live south of Chesterfield in an aas at Ofton, about 10 miles north of Ilson and Aynor and 10 miles south of Bo-zer ;)
