    SRAM AXS not responding

That’s interesting. I travel to trails with bike stationary inside car upright with both tires on with zero contact to RD with anything. Not sure how this can cause battery spring pin RD to go bad?

    SRAM AXS not responding

Haha, I went T-type and electronic mostly to ditch the UDH derailleur hanger that was the cause/main contributor to damaging three derailleurs last summer (one 12spd, two 11speed derailleurs) from UDH throwing cage into cassette and mangling it. One big stick caused UDH to shift cage, other two...

    SRAM AXS not responding

3 months on GX T-type AXS with 2 failures due to battery connector pin and spring gone bad. Warrantied by Sram each time, but pretty annoying since bike down for at least 2 weeks each time when happens and 1st replacement only lasted 2 weeks. All for $400 derailleur is not acceptable in my...

    SRAM AXS not responding

What was outcome? I have only been on GX Transmission for less than 3 months and second one just stopped working like yours tonight. Happened a month or so ago and Sram warrantied thru local bike shop who did the inital install. Bit discouraged by this since second go around with this. I...

    Brake pads

I have found Sram pads (metallic) to be quite poor myself due to very minimal longevity. I just switched to MTX Gold pads myself. Ebikes eat brake pads more so than regular bikes so need to account for that as well

Levo Gen 3 Improving Levo Comp suspension

I personally think the stock suspension on the Comp is pretty darn good for what it is. I ride DH, jump lines, trail with no limitations. Just add a bit more compression with swtich to firm up as needed foe the big senders and high compressive hits. I am +200 lbs, ride my bikes pretty...

Rail (750Wh) Another rail that’s turns off

Tension straps outside the frame/battery should help. What I had to use on my Rail after just a few months and “fixes” by Trek did nothing like you experienced. I use two velcro tension straps at upper part of battery/frame and lower.

Specialized Levo - Why So Popular?

Cause it is that good! Versatile….can hit pretty much any trail/jump on it regardless of pitch, challenge. Dependable…over 1500 miles over past 6 months and zero issues and all pivots and motor going strong. (not case with Bosch within 3-4 months) Range….can pretty much do as much riding as I...

Levo Gen 3 Cheap levo and upgrade versus more expensive levo ?

Recommend Levo Comp carbon and upgrade and replace parts as you go. Since owning mine, I initially swapped out post, saddle, grips and tires. Just replaced wheels to some stout DH carbon hoops and went Sram GX 1x11 since me and long caged derailleurs don’t get along too well. Snapped the...

Levo Gen 3 Levo gen 3 model choice question

Buddy blew his X2 on his Expert with me today by rides end,. Just fast, mixed trail riding. Only his 5th ride this year (I got 86 rides this year). Has 20 lbs on me, but not a ton of riding on his bike for this to happen. I think X2 and 38 overated myself. Think FSR suspension platform so...

Levo Gen 3 Levo gen 3 model choice question

Yeah pushing mine 90-95% on most every ride since I don’t know any better and former racer dude. I am trying to back down as I age (50), but these bikes and today’s trails just begs for more. So for very pleased with basic suspension for 90-95% of stuff I do, just need to go up another volume...

Rail (625Wh) you may want to watch this #TREKRAIL

Yep, I have this torque bit and always had Trek still check to confirm if bolts snapped or not. Two of the times the were able to remove the snapped off bolt heads and replace. Other times they couldn’t or was to late with torn electronics wiring, thus requiring a full new drive unit

Levo Gen 3 Levo gen 3 model choice question

Poor wet/loam performance, especially on steep trails, especially braking. Thin casing, like a ballon on narrower 30mm rims for poorer aggressive cornering/loading. 2.4 thicker casing tires much better for me, especially on heavy ebike that takes alot of compressive loads from me

Rail (625Wh) you may want to watch this #TREKRAIL

And I don’t believe a rider should have to do that all the time, especially at cost of bike and what bike was intended for. If I was a mechanic and worked in a shop and got large discount on bike and had time to tinker with it, maybe not care as much. But I am not and just want to ride my God...

Rail (625Wh) you may want to watch this #TREKRAIL

Rather ride than drop motors and tighten bolts all the time. Trek was insistent they do it with Trek store just around the corner from me

Levo Gen 3 Levo gen 3 model choice question

Been pretty happy on my Levo Comp Carbon here over past 3 weeks, averaging 16-22k of DH vertical feet per week (4-5 rides/week) on everything from DH, FR/jump lines, slow techy trails, blasting techy trails. I am pretty well pleased so far after I tossed the stock tires for Schwalbe SG casings...

Rail (625Wh) you may want to watch this #TREKRAIL

Contined to happen to me after that with replacement in 6/22 and 10/22. After last replacement, Trek suggested I have them drop the motor every 3 months to check for loose bolts. My answer, a second ebike with none of these problems to spread the load

Rail (625Wh) you may want to watch this #TREKRAIL

Numerous times for me in 1.5 years of riding my Rail. Four drive units in total warrantied by Bosch/Trek. Shoddy design altogether unless rode like a tenderfoot and infrequently like my buddy does on his Rail 5 with his. I call BS by Trek saying due to pedal strikes. Just fess up and say...
