So you are saying when you stop pedaling the bike cuts of the power….. 🤔🤔🤔
.2 second… are you telling me you make your shifts during this .2 sec power pause. Damn bro. I wish I had reflexes like like.
Maybe the shimano is easier to shift because it’s the weakest motor 🤷🏻♂️
The cadence police are coming for you! I’m surprised they haven’t shown up yet to tell everyone they don’t know the proper way to ride an ebike. Please tell the cadence police to F-off when you see them.
Finally someone is coming around to what I’ve been saying. It’s a big change to the geo. Glad to know I wasn’t the only one with an increased bb height.
That’s exactly what I’m saying. It’s a big change. At 220 lbs I do prefer the way the shock functions at lower pressure with the new kit. I’m running a touch more sag to compensate for the increased height. I’m still happy with my purchase so far. I just would like to hear other peoples feedback...
That is not correct in my case. The long shock kit raised my bottom bracket height by 16mm, slightly more than the increase in travel. The bottom bracket height will be taller throughout. At 30% sag my bottom bracket will still be 11mm taller than a stock levo at 30% sag.
I don’t think the bottom bracket is that low, but the ground clearance is low with the brose motor sticking down so far below the bottom bracket. I would never choose a mullet for serious technical riding, it’s not what that bike is made for in my opinion. Everything is a trade off, and for me...
I hear what your saying. My thought is the linkage provides 15mm more travel at the rear wheel. If your bottom bracket is raised 15-16mm prior to suspension load, your bottom bracket will be riding higher throughout the suspension travel. The geometry might be close to stock only when suspension...
My bike is taller with the long shock kit so it’s going to be taller under sag as well. I was kind of shocked it was 16mm taller, I advise everyone else to check the before and after. I run my levo in low bb / slack ha configuration. Thinking that the bb height would be the same, I was planning...
I don’t believe this is true, despite what cascade says on their site. I measured my bottom bracket height before and after the long shock kit and my bottom bracket height is definitely higher, a touch more than 5/8 inch / 16mm taller than the stock setup.
On your Gen 3 levo I noticed that you replaced the fox 38 with a zeb and installed an EXT coil. Why did you choose a fox 38 fork and Ohlins coil for the trek rail? Any thoughts you can share about the differences between the 2 suspension setups?
I converted my 2020 s4 kenevo expert to a full 29er and the bike is a beast. Couldn’t be happier with the performance. With 29” specialized carbon wheels, butcher gravity tires, carbon bars and magura mt7 brakes the bike weighs in a 52lbs / 23.6 kg. Shocking thing to me is that it only weighs...
Does anybody know if it’s possible to purchase a Rotwild or La Pierre bike / frame in the US? Do any European dealers export to the US?
My preferred option we to somehow buy a rotwild frame only. Been interested in both brands and would be willing to purchase a complete bike if that was the...
Yep. I was only talking about the carbon crafty rr sl model. I believe the 500w rr sl was 19.7 kg, 625w was 20.2 kg. The new 2022 carbon crafty rr sl with 750w battery is 22.08kg. The new model is now at the same weight as a gen2 sworks levo. I would still consider it lightweight, but not super...
This would be awesome! A dealer told me about the 750w battery and that cannondale made some changes to make the bike lighter. I didn’t hear anything about 170mm travel. That would be ?
I hope they avoid the mullet trend and stick with a full 29er.
I was chasing creaks on mine for awhile. Greased every pivot with no success. Noises went away after I tightened that “chain ring nut”. I found that it often comes loose. If you ride with the chainring loose you can strip that nut, I’ve done that too.
I was very interested in a kenevo until I hopped on one at my local bike shop and pedaled around the parking lot. I was getting pedal strikes while turning that beast on pavement. Climbing ability is important to me and I dont think that bike would perform well up any technical climbs or uneven...
Both great bikes! I prefer the gen 3 because of the brose motor / mission control app, the 700w battery, and the adjustable geo. I can also go on much longer rides with both levos.
If I want to go on a 3 hour+ ride I can set my levo at 40% - 50% power and I wont run out of battery. With the trek...
