an excellent (and cheap) alternative could be the Michelin DH34 bikepark version, ONLY if you frequent dry and compact trails. Excellent grip and durability, great resistance to punctures and in Italy you can buy it for about 27 euros ... or the usual DHR2, Assegai Maxxterra, Big betty
In my opinion the worst maxxis ever bought(29 maxxgrip dh casing), destroyed the small central blocks in the rock gardens in the bike park (Stumpjumper Evo), when braking they literally come off downhill (I weigh more than 100 kg).
I bought the cascade link for a Stumpjumper Evo 19 as far as I'm concerned it was a disappointment, both with the air shock and ESPECIALLY with the spring, the increase in progressivity is absolutely not enough (98 kg rider)
