A stronger Bosch SX and improvements for the CX coming on July 14th

I'm just back from a ride on my Crafty since updating the firmware... I have to say that the extra power is great but EMTB+ needs a bit of work as the bike felt like it was trying to surge forward after every pedal stroke, it just didn't feel natural in any way shape or form so I just reverted...

Sorry on the slow reply. I'm around 180cm with aa 82cm inside leg and the M/L fits me perfectly, The seatpost for me is fine as I have it inserted as far as it can go but I can see why people could have concerns as I get pretty close to the seat on steep trails but t it hasn’t caused me any...

Nice one, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have been, set up the suspension as per the guide on Mondrakers website, that’s what I done and I haven’t felt the need to play around with the suspension since

There’s 2 little mud guards that seem to be doing a good job of keeping the shock clean or at least I haven’t had to clean it yet.

, yeah, I changed a few parts over from my old bike to the Crafty, No I changed the cassette too a GX T Type one too so mines is all T Type now. Your height puts you right at the top end of the medium, if I was you I’d be wanting to try out both if I could

The only thing about the frame that annoyed me is that the internal cable routing isn’t fully lined so it was a bit of a faff fitting my Hope brakes, having said that it is lined round the motor so you at least don’t have to drop the motor The battery mount is fine, once it’s in it’s solid...

I’d certainly recommend looking into it further, if you’ve not already seen it There’s a good review on the bike on the Brian Cahil Chanel on YouTube about the bike.

First ride on the new bike and I have to say it's much better than I thought it would be, instantly felt comfortable on the bike and was pushing harder than I have for a good long time

Fuel EXe New SRAM AXS Transmission for the Trek Fuel EXe 9.7?

Yeah, you remove everything to do with the UDH including the washer this is all replaced by a bush frame insert (part No5 in the linked PDF), don't worry, the bearing wont fall out and there is no spacer to fall out ether...

SRAM Eagle T-Type Transmission Compatibility Thread

No need to think anything, it was called a compatibility test which is exactly what this thread is about. Also as I hinted to above, I don’t intend to run my bike like that, in fact both my bikes have full t-type on them now.

SRAM Eagle T-Type Transmission Compatibility Thread

It’s ok guys yous don’t need to worry as the correct parts are going on as soon as my XD driver freehub turns up this morning, besides I’m pretty sure the name of this thread is to see what’s compatible or not? I simply had the parts and the time to see what works and what doesn’t! I now know...

SRAM Eagle T-Type Transmission Compatibility Thread

For anyone that’s interested, I finally got round to testing the GX T-Type mech with a Shimano 10/51 cassette and a Shimano 12 speed chain and T-Type Bosch 36 toothed chainring on a 2021 Trek Rail. By following the exact same setup as the full T-Type system on the AXS app I can confirm that it...

SRAM Eagle T-Type Transmission Compatibility Thread

Has anyone tried the T-Type mech with a Shimano 10 51 cassette and Shimano chain yet? I might give it a try next week as I have full T-Type on my Fuel EXE and a mix of AXS and Shimano on my Rail, Thinking I might just swap some parts over to check compatibility and at least the Shimano cassette...

"2nd dead bosch gen 4 motor not happy

My first Gen 4 went at roughly 1000 miles, one of my mates is also on his second Gen 4, surprise surprise, his also went at roughly 1000 miles. I asked the bike shop about this and they also said they had seen a number of bikes with motors gone at roughly 1000 miles... I'd hate to think what...
