I do believe , with what frames they have left , they have modified them. My second frame is going strong and I’ve given it even more stick that the first, ( which is really quite a lot) I keep an eye on the suspect area but 6 months on the new frame and all good so far!
I had the exact same problem with the lower cup breaking , cased a jump , not that badly , heard a crack , took me the next month to actually work out what it was because as others have said , it would adjust up fine but play would re-appear after each ride ..., found it eventually
Chain stays ?? Really? Where have you heard that ?
I am on my second frame , a turquoise 727 one and it has actually been ok after about 6 months of pretty hard use. I regularly check around that seat tube area
Well lets see what happens, they said it was a batch issue, which suggests they may have resolved it? I guess they would say that anyway!!
It is a bit strange how they have clearly stopped production , and actually gone away from shimano altogether. For me, the intergrated downtube is one...
oK, an update on mine ....
My 527 went back to Raleigh as I explained previously, very small crack in the usual place. Raleighs customer service was very good and they did a frame swap , albeit with the higher model frame from the 727, which is still essentially the same frame. it seems they...
Ok well thanks for the heads up! It sounds like it could be a hit and miss experience, I will try to rake as many upgrades off as is practically possible and real with it from there I suppose. Cheers again
Wow that’s pretty amazing , I have had my bike for over a year ! And I’ve ridden it a lot , but there is certainly evidence of small cracking which I guess is only going to get worse. I really like the bike as well. I have also upgraded it , and would actually be quite disappointed if they...
Hi guys, any updates on this? I have discovered a very small crack in the same place on my 527i , wondering what to do? Im also having motor issues. Its over a year old now.
Couple of screenshots of the app so you can see the format, you simply type in the numbers and away you go. There are some default values as well but since it is not currently connected to my bike the readings all go to zero.
Hi Guys,
I have used the software on my own personal bike and it is simply outstanding. However, to make it financially viable I would have to charge in the region of 250 quid per bike, which I am more than aware is quite a lot. However, for this you get absolute customization of all modes ...
I have a Lapierre AM 527i 2018 , I got it for 3400 , it’s a great bike , very similar to the lappy your considering, same frame. Hard to beat the looks with any other ebike in my opinion, they look amazing in the flesh. However, if you want to join everyone else on a spesh then go for it , they...
Morning guys,
It is the Eplus software I am talking about , I am a dealer and looking at taking this semi-mobile. I could say meet you at a trail centre or something, I ride at the Forest of Dean a lot for example. I am currently testing the software and there appears to be no drawbacks at this...
Hi Guys,
I will soon have the software and hardware needed to do custom mapping in all modes, including eco. This will also include an option to go into race mode (higher speed restriction) and maintain correct speed and distance readings. Is there any interest in this?
