    Tow bar bike carrier.

Best rack I have ever used. Holds the bike well, not to heavy, rotates down for easy trunk access and it has enough space for all my riding Bros too! (Pic edited to clean up back ground debris).

Anyone miss their old non Emtb??

I couldn't agree more. The OP seems to have missed the point of getting an emtb for the area he says he rides around on and the apparent condition he is in. My regular bike is for riding park where there is no need for an emtb. I find the added weight and wear and tear on my emtb clearly offset...

Amflow PL Carbon Pro Dream Build. The Liberace Edition.

Did you find the alloy rims on Aliexpress along with the Kooser hubs? If not, have you ever bought any alloy rims from Aliexpress?

Amflow PL Carbon Pro Dream Build. The Liberace Edition.

Congratulations on your new title, and as a fellow poser, I couldn't agree more with your build! I am wondering about your choice of rear hub. I know that its gold(ish) but do you think its going to be durable enough for an AMFLOW motor on an emtb?

    Pic of the Day

The "landing" is about 3m to the right and has a decent transition of at least 40 degrees with a 10m run out until you MUST make a 90 degree right turn or hit one of several large trees. There were visible tire tracks, so it is doable!

    Pic of the Day

The North Shore has some BIG drops. I have been riding by this one for several years thinking, "it looks like the size of the one on Dirt Merchant (Whistler Bike Park) and If I wasn't by myself...." and then I ride right on by it!

Help choosing my girlfriend's first emtb

Buy a used SL emtb. Trying to get your g/f into biking will most likely lead to frustration on both sides as you try to push her to do more and her fear and different priorities don't align with yours. If she has friends to ride with as well, that would be the best place to get her interested in...

I didn’t want to be here, but...

Nice... sounds like the best excuse to upgrade to a new bike. I will give it a try on my partner and report back to the group. Thanks for the great idea! 👍

    Thanks for having me!

Good to see another BC'r online! Lower mainland (no snow in the pic)? Are you replacing the Levo or adding to the fleet?

    Accuracy of pumps

I am mostly satisfied with 70% of the 11 wheels I have holding air. I have taken tires off too many times in search of WHY I have a few of slow leaks (replaced rim tape, replaced the O ring on the valve stem, replaced the sealant and even tried regular presta valves) but as @irie says, I always...

    Accuracy of pumps

Is it fair to assume the MucOff has glitter in with the sealant that plugs the Fillmore valves? I am still stuck on Stans and dont have any issue with the Fillmore valves and filling/toping up the sealant. I do seem to lose pressure and have to pump up one or two of my tires, sometimes as much...

    Accuracy of pumps

In the end, I am not sure being so precise in pressure matters that much to me as I am not planning to ride in any World cup races this year. Sometimes, it's just nice to know what the tire pressures are for a pre flight mental check, so if I do crash, I can't blame my tire pressure for being...

    Accuracy of pumps

I start with the pitch test. If that feels close, I try the squish test with my elbow on the wheel, on hard ground but always end up using an analogue gauge. I have noticed that when using Cushcore that the pressures can be off when pumping up the tire (the pump gauge reads high) and it some...

    ‘21 Spesh Levo SL

If you have a Levo SL, you have a Mahle 1.1 motor. I run 160mm cranks on my KSL and LSL with way less pedal strikes. I have had two motors replaced on my 2022 KSL due to side to side play in the cranks but no noises. My 2020 LSL is running well. I run both my bikes mullet. and weigh around...

    Pic of the Day

Definitely worth checking out with so many challenging trails to ride in Squamish but given a choice, I still prefer my park bike and the chairlift on a hot summer day!

    Amflow PL Carbon "weight loss"

I for one can be counted as one of the "anyones" who doesn't understand why you are interested in a high powered motor in the bike you have modified. While I understand the "why not" and modifying a bike for personal preference, your stated goal of "I bought the Amflow PL Carbon "standard"...

Assembly frame LightCarbon LCE971 bafang M510 (By Denver)

I am interested to hear how your wheels have held up over the past year and if you still would recommend them? I looked into the cost of them from LightCarbon compared to the top tear one available around here (WeAreOne) and they would be close to 65% less, I am looking for an Enduro/DH...

    New Bike day.

Maybe that is it. I have used DT Swiss 511 rims for years along with Cushcore and only noticed the occasional rear rim ding but I can't say I notice any performance difference using a carbon rim with my setup and tire pressure (F18/R21 @ 185 lbs). Then again, I treat my bikes as an additional...

    New Bike day.

I have heard that about carbon rims. Call me insensitive or a little slow but when I have ridden carbon rims, I am still not able to express in words to describe the difference. You sound like you are sold on them. What have you noticed in particular?

    Newbee saying hello

Hey thats great! My g/f is from Ciudad de Mexico and I have been there lots times (her uncle lives in Morelia) but never knew there was any riding in the area. I will see if I can bring my bike down next time I am in the area.
