Yes I bought it separately, although from the same shop. RD, cassette, chain. The shifter I actually sourced from another shop. For a Levo SL2. Didn't need the chain ring or crank.
What year Spectral On do you have? On my 2020, I set it up correctly and the smallest cog is too close to the drop out. We needed to add a 1mm spacer just to make it work. It works fine now, but it was annoying.
So just to update anyone who's interested regarding 3rd gear not playing nice on my Canyon Spectral ON. I called SRAM customer service, they told me the usual and obvious troubleshooting practices, such as torquing down the cassette and making sure the notches on the RD are lined up. I told them...
I’ve never had regular AXS, but I’m not too impressed with Transmission so far, considering having to make sure you check off all the required boxes to install it and even set it up. The shifting under load works (for the most part). But for me that’s not the biggest selling point. IMO it’s the...
Correct. I’m running transmission on 3 different bikes. Only my Spectral ON running 55mm with SRAM XX chainring is giving me problems. My Epic Evo with 52mm chainline runs good, but clanked a total of 2 times on the #2 gear, but never skipped off. The Levo SL2 with stock ring is the only bike I...
Just installed GX transmission on my
2020 Canyon Spectral ON. Same issue as others: gear 3 is clanking around. Gonna try using SRAM's recommendation and reinstall/retorque cassette to 40nm, and report back.
I have Transmission on 2 other bikes: X0 on Epic Evo w/ 52mm chainline and GX on Levo...
Hey what year is your Spectral On? I have a 2020, and never looked into SRAM transmission bc I simply thought it was not compatible. I finally looked at and paid attention to the derailleur hanger interface on the bike, and I realized it said UDH! So the only question now is whether the stock...
Ah ok. Interesting. I don't care for the display, and decluttering my cockpit is ideal. Only websites I see selling em are in Europe. I'm gonna give Shimano USA a call to see if they're avail stateside.
I'm not familiar with the bluetooth junction box. Gotta look into it. And yea, my stock bar is Di2 compatible apparently. It has the holes for access as well as the bottom grooves on the ends for the cable to sit.
Hey, so I'm purchased a used carbon bar from a buddy of mine to replace the alloy one on my Canyon Spectral On. Mainly to color match my ebike and to give a more customized look. I'm not expecting any performance or weight advantages.
This is my first bike with Shimano system. The stock bar...
I called Shimano since Canyon doesn't cover any of the Shimano steps system. Apparently you can interchange the SM-DUE 11 and the SM-DUE 10. Only difference is the way it mounts and clearance. Shimano said it will not void the warranty regardless of which one you use.
So I ran over a downed tree branch while night riding and it got stuck in my rear wheel. Not realizing how big it was, it apparently took part of the speed sensor with it. I'm not expecting this to be covered under warranty (though I'll give canyon a call), so I took to Google to find the part...
Just wanna into myself to the group. Just placed an order on a canyon Spectral On for my first ebike. I'm so glad the shopping around process is over! So many options to look at with so little inventory to choose from. It's kinda strange for me to pull the trigger on a bike without ever sitting...
