🚴 Why Don't You Ride to Work or for Everyday Commitments?

I run aggressive knobbies for local trails and pavement is very hard on them. To ride pavement I would need a different tire but that would compromise off-road ability which im Not ok with since my emtb is off-road therapy tool. I would need to buy second wheel set but odds are I would rarely...

How much does sustainability drive your e-bike use?

Agreed. Our population will shrink and cause major problems. Chinas idiotic one child policy has caused population collapse and they are desperately trying to reverse it now. They are manufacturing society that will run out of workforce. Hardly any country in the west is having enough children...

How much does sustainability drive your e-bike use?

Sustainably and environmental policies have been corrupted by money and politics. But mostly money. We spend hundreds of billions fighting climate change. That amount of money has caused corruption even sadly at science and research level. Thr more doomsday evidence paid researchers provide, the...

New Bosch Torque Update V Amflow

Watt vs torque is so confusing to people. Let’s me try to clarify. I’m an adult who can easily lift a 50 lb box. My son is 11 and can barely do the same. We both lift 50lbs (torque). I will never go heavier my than 50lbs, doctor orders. We now need to unload a truck. It has 20 boxes each 50lbs...

New Bosch Torque Update V Amflow

Torque is twisting force of the motor. Watts are power available to the motor from the battery. If the motor is not getting enough watts, it can’t maintain max torque. As motor speed increases, it needs more watts to keep making 120nm of torque. In your scenario a 1000w Ebike would pull away...

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

I have been running Albert front back and it’s been good for this hard pack in Southern California. As everything drys out and becomes loose dirt and dust I’m thinking sherdda in the front mm or Albert in the back. The Albert wear quick, that’s the only negative but I bought 6 or so for cheap so...

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

Tempted to try them. The golds have so much power it’s ridiculous. My buddy bought Levo Gen 4 to compliment his road bike. I warned him about mavens, he doesn’t do a lot of MTB. Well in a group ride, he was messing with his gps, looked up noticed people stopped. Got on the brakes and ended up...

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

I get it but it removes some of the on/off feeling while giving you max power anyway. 100/100 means it takes very little effort to get full power of the bike. I love it tho, it’s such a beast!

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

Tune your turbo down a bit. If all the way up in ease of peddling it’s too powerful. Slide the tune to the left, or use auto mode. This bike has a ton of torque and turbo if all the way up csn Come on too strong. I noticed that if I’m climbing very steep trail it wants to wheelie. I now climb in...

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

I’m running the gold and they are excellent. Modulation is good but they can get noisy when hot or wet. I ran magura mt7 and while those are known for modulation, I feel mavens have tons more power which is nice on heavy braking trails. I’m curious if anyone is running red pads and how they like...

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

Nothing on specialized website mentions 250w. Nominal 250w power would indicate that the bike over a few hour ride would indicate average motor power of 250w, or thereabouts in a consistent long climb. Instead we are seeing 700-800w motor output as members here have reported. I suspect to get...

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

In the USA motor is 750w nominal and peaks well over that. As users on here have reported seeing power spikes well over 800w. You are not climbing the way these bikes climb if the motor is putting out average of 250w.

750W in the USA (soon in Venezuela and Greenland) Joke, hope none get offended.

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

That’s peak power. 850w nominal meaning average power over time. I believe this is how they define it. All these motors can peak way more than nominal. This info was published at one point when they did Ebike motor comparison. 850w nominal should be a really good boost to keep up with amflow boys!

Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

Power update to 850w is confirmed. Select people from specialized already have this update (saw one bike myself). No idea how this will be split s-works non s-works. Should roll out this month. OTA details being worked. These bikes were updated manually

Levo Gen 4 What do you dislike about the 2026 Gen4 Levo

Had to get S-works. It’s is really good. Better motor over gen 3. Quiet and very powerful. Takes some getting used to. Turbo can come on strong and bike will wheelie. I havent messed with setting and you can turn the turbo down. Auto mode is fantastic. Set and forget. I don’t notice any weight...
