I had that on mine to. After washing or rain. It seems to be that the on off Switch is not waterproof. After filling ist with WD40 it disapeared. Maybe check also the contact on the Motor wire. Sometimes there is some water in the connector.

The attachment on the frame would be to difficult. You had to cnc some mounting points then weld it to the frame or so..

I suggest a 11s xt Upgrade kit. The kit including rear derailler, casette, shifter and chain goes around 200€. If you need the chainring, choose 34t or if tuned 38t. Its a very reliable kit and easy to set up. Greets from Germany

I have a Haibike sduro cross 3.0 with bosch cx perf gen3 and a Focus Jam2 6.7 plus with e8000 and a GT everb current with a e8000 . Why ? Because i love ebikes and wanna have one for every purpose ;D

If i am understanding right, you dont even need a Rosenberger connector. You can solder on two wires under the Rosenberger plug in the Focus harness and bring them out where you want. Then just plug your extended battery on. If i right the System recognizes the range extender an drains it first...
