The fork on the Trek can be upgraded to 3.1 damper which makes it a great fork, but the brakes will have to be upgraded as they are terrible, so budget for some SLX/XT replacements / haggle with the bike shop for a brake switch - they could do it at close to cost to get the sale.

Same, on iphone I deleted and resinstalled the flow app. I had to reset my password with a SMS code, and it immediately started installing a new update when I connected the bike to the app.

I get enough range, so I am happy with it.

I have taken the bike out a few times now that the weather has improved. I definitely notice the weight reduction, and the battery is not rattling, so I am happy.

A quick update - I have made some small tweaks to the designs based on the mounts being used on a different bike design, and have reordered one of the parts for my own bike. I have reordered from China, as it is much cheaper. It has been dispatched. I will update the main post when it arrives...

My hope is that it works on all bikes that are designed for the 600wh battery and the 800wh battery. My mounts are designed to match the 600wh battery, so if the bike comes with different mounts for the 600wh battery, those will need to purchased. It might work on bikes that are only designed...

Mine also arrived today - now wish I got it dyed black. It all fits together very well. The o ring might be a bit thin in this material, so as I have to order another lid, I will make a thicker o ring at the same time - although the power adaptor and o ring will need to be glued to prevent...

You will need to check the lower lid - I made a tweak that removed one of the holes by accident - now corrected. I need to reprint it myself, but waiting for the parts to arrive so I know they all fit together using this new printing process.

I have ordered the parts in MJF PA12 - they should arrive next week. Final piece of the puzzle is to find a good glue.

There is a 3rd option, which is to make two versions of one of the mounts. One being 1mm longer - I will do this.

I have printed in PLA which is a fair bit lighter than PA12, so weight now would not be a fair measurment. I will try to weigh the mounts, bosch parts, nuts and bolts before I assemble.
