A couple more....easy to add extensions as lots of bridleways around both routes to rack up the vertical and the miles.
With the first route, go up and down the valley to the north of Stephenson Farm - a good track up and then singletrack back down on the left of the valley, then head south of...
. With the new smart system from Bosch you are always one step ahead and constantly retain an overview, thanks to the integrated cockpit with its Kiox 300 display and LED Remote.
I would try it at 265 psi and take it out for a couple of hours. Take the pump just in case you need to add a little.
I followed what Trek suggested and not touched it since.
The picture of this bike is the same as the 2021 model, but details show the 750 battery so might be backwards compatible, although engine might be new ? CX BES3 ?

The KMC part number is BFCB45234. I can’t make out all of the numbers on the chainring but the 234 definitely match up; you will be able to check the rest.
The other thing making me think it’s KMC is the small holes on the chainring. Only KMC has these holes.
I would try a new front chainring...
Looks good to me on set up.
My guess is the KMC front chainring, but not sure as it is meant to be good for 3,500km
The black coating looks to be coming off in places, perhaps suggesting it is worn ? ( maybe the photos though )
it does appear that chainring goes with the kmc chain...
Is there a lot of tension on the rear derailleur when you try to pull the derailleur forward ?
Can you take a picture of the whole drivetrain with the chain on the smallest cog at the back ?
Was the chain shortened ?
If it all looks ok, then I am out of ideas.
I expect all derailleurs to fail around the same force.
I suggest you carry a multi tool with a chain tool and quick link in future. If you get some initial derailleur damage, you remove the derailleur, shorten the chain, and make the bike single speed.
P.S Bad luck on the damage.
I suggest you investigate a bosch gen4 spider, with spacers to attach the chain ring ?
For example...

You might find a chainring with a built in offset ?

Looking to upgrade my Trek Rail 5.
If you are upgrading and want to sell your 2021 RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate RT3 that comes on the 2021 Trek Rails, I'm looking to buy.
It would be nice of specialized to publish all of the serial numbers of the 2.1 motors that are 2.2 specification. It would give relief to a lot of people who purchased a bike last year or recently received a replacement motor.
Rob tried it and went back to 29

On page 5 he found it best to drop the fork back to 160
DT Swiss HXC might be a good alternative but not sure if they are worth the extra money.
These look bullet proof as rated ASTM 5 - E-Deemax S30 29 - E-MTB - Wheels - MTB | Mavic
As a good packup pair, these are good value...
