Hey,
Was out out riding today, after finally getting all of my new parts installed.
And I am experiencing a knocking feeling through the crank arms when I apply high torque. It feels like it is coming from the motor. (Yes, the crank arms are torqued)
I have swapped out the stock e13 carbon...
It’s a 2.4, not easiest to seat. A little tough to get on the rim, I usually partially inflate and then spray some soapy water around the tire and rim. And it seats.
I got my 9.8XT EXE built up last week, ride wrapped it and swapped out some parts. Ohlins RXF36m2, TTX1, wolftooth post,lever,30 tooth chainring, headset dropper lever and some other small bits, an SQlab saddle, time pedals, conti tires and some trickstuff brakes and rotors. Still waiting for the...
I’ve also used formula and trickstuff rotors. And get harmonics/ vibrations.
I get what your saying about the pulsing on these galfer’s though. ( it’s not the pulsing that is the problem)
Maybe there is something up with my seatstay. I’ll see what spesh says.
Thanks for the reply, Yes the rotors and pads have been bedded in properly.
I have been using the same setup on my spesh enduro with no hiccups.
I am trying to figure out if this a brake problem or a frame problem? Are others on here running 203 rotors with no problemS?
Do any other users get rear brake harmonics/ severe vibrations?
I changed my brakes over to Hayes dominions with a 2mm x 203 rotor. And then started getting terrible vibrations through the frame.
I have tried 5 different brake adapters, 2 different rotors and 3 different sets of pads. Semi...
I have both on separate bikes.
The feel is noticeable between the 2 of them. And I would have to say, I enjoy the compliance in the one up more. (The renthal is very stiff)
Thanks for the input and little review of your setup!
I also have a storia coming for my Levo SL.
I am about 205lb without gear.
My bike has a cascade link and I was thinking I would need a 650lb spring, but by the sounds of it, a 600 or 625 might work better.
I have been running my SL with...
Yes, it’s a metal screw with a plastic thumb wheel on the end. And for some reason with a loose fit the screw spins while riding, causing your levers to move out or to the bars.
I tried the elastic bands yesterday and this seems to work well, puts enough tension on the screw to keep it from...
Tried that with another pair. And then the plastic thumb screws strip and won’t turn because of the loctite
Just thought other ppl have had the same problem. And found a solution
